On December 11, two Su-24M warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out several airstrikes on the northeastern Syrian of Greater Idlib where several terrorist groups are active.
The airstrikes targeted the town of Yacubiyeh which is located to the north of the town of Jisr al-Shughur in the western countryside of Idlib.
Syrian opposition sources, including the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, claimed that three people were killed and 12 others were wounded as a result of the Russian airstrikes.
According to jihadi activists, the target of the airstrikes was the house of infamous Chechen leader Muslim Abu Walid al-Shishani. The fate of the terrorist remains unknown.

Al-Shishani, whose real name is Murad Iraklievich Margoshvili, is a Georgian citizen. He reportedly fought against Russian government forces in the First and Second Chechen Wars.
The terrorist arrived in Syria to fight government forces around ten years ago. In 2012, he formed a group of Chechen and Lebanese militants in the northern Lattakia countryside known as Junud al-Sham.
Earlier this year, al-Shishani’s group was neutralized by al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the de-facto ruler of Greater Idlib. Al-Shishani and his militants were expelled from all of their positions in the northern Lattakia countryside following a fierce battle.
The Russian attempt on al-Shishani’s life will likely weaken HTS stand in Greater Idlib. Radicals are already accusing the terrorist group of betraying al-Shishani. Some are even claiming that the group provided the Russian intelligence with the coordinates of the leader’s house.
Russian pilots are doing a good job as they decapitate the United Snakes of terror.
Hopefully they killed this scumbag. If not, his days are numbered.
Condolences to the fallen wahabimossad and CIAisis operators. May they rest in pieces…
