Syrian and Russian warplanes are pounding ISIS targets in the provinces of Homs and Deir Ezzor ahead of the upcoming government operation aimed at lifting the ISIS siege from the city of Deir Ezzor.
According to reports, airstrikes hit ISIS terrorists near the Najib gas field, in Kasrat Al-Faraj near Sukhna, in the area of Uqayribat east of Salamiyah, near Maadan in southern Raqqah and near the city of Deir Ezzor and the Deir Ezzor airport.
Earlier this week, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies liberated a notable area east and northeast of Sukhna and captured the Subai’i Mount, the Daba Mount, the Khashm Baghal Mount as well as the nearby points.

Syria and Russia aerospace forces must increases considerably the bombing on east part up to Deir Ezzor. I am sure that they can control totally the terrorists activity in this area, and Syria-Hezbolah.Iran-Russia forces can reach DZ this week…. just do it, and do it fast.
They destroyed 26 vehicles 22 gun mounted trucks 3 tanks ,1 apc and dozens of terrorists and hit gatherings 70 km east of DE and elsewhere. The front in the Southeastern desert captured police stations 165-170 along the Jordanian border. They beat back counter attacks and still manage to push forward. I think they are doing great right now and have managed to achieve some very solid advances and continue to inflict heavy damage on ISIS.
It’s starting to look more and more likely that Deir Ezzor will not be relieved from the forces moving along the Euphrates but from Sukhnah. Which in a way makes the current ISIS offensive near Ma’adan such an ill conceived undertaking, throwing everything they still have at it and losing the last of their mobile striking reserves. Even if they manage to halt one of the SAA axis of attack, they will still get boned up the A from the other one. They have to stop both attacks, which they now no longer can.
It would seem that whoever is in charge of ISIS strategy is a graduate of the Adolf Hitler Berlin Bunker academy of military command.

This was the original plan but they were held up and they pushed ahead on Suhleil orders which in hindsight wasn’t a good strategy it left their flank open
They threw their forces into the offence with no real reserves their US/Israeli advisers were hoping for the old days of the SAA in retreating and not putting up a good retreat.
