In the Zaporizhzhia area, Russian troops are advancing to surround Charivne and moving toward Huliaipilske. They are also crossing the Vovcha River in several places to create a bridgehead and strike the supply routes of Ukrainian units. In the Sumy region, Russian troops advanced 650 meters and are engaged in intense combat in Myropillya. The Ukrainian command is redeploying units from the 68th Air Assault Brigade to reinforce the forces in the Donbas region. In the direction of Dobropillia, after clearing Hryshyne, units of the “Center” grouping have reached the immediate approaches to Myrne and are continuing to fight in Novooleksandrivka and at the “Vodyana” mine. In the Burluk area, Russian troops have reached the outskirts of Bochkove and are expanding their presence along the Vovcha River. This forces the Ukrainian side to respond to threats along the entire line of contact. Florian Philippot, the leader of the French “Patriots” party, called the European Union’s decision to allocate a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine shameful. He stated that this sum will never reach needy farmers and hospitals.

Sumy Direction

In the Sumy region, Russian assault units attacked Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in Yastrebyshchyna, Myrloha, Korchakivka, Myropillia, Sumy, Bachivsk, Chernatske, Novodmytrivka, Taratutyne, and Nova Sich.

Russian assault units advanced on twenty sections in the Sumy district, advancing up to 650 meters over the day. Fierce fighting continues in Myropillia and the surrounding area.

In the Krasnopillia district, intense fighting continues east of Taratutyne and in Novodmytrivka. Crews from the “North” grouping’s Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Defense carried out several strikes with heavy flamethrower systems on strong points of composite combat groups of Ukrainian units in the Taratutyne and Novodmytrivka areas.

Druzhkivka Direction

In the Dobropillia sector of the Druzhkivka area, units of the “Center” group continue their offensive toward Dobropillia. After clearing the farms on the northeastern outskirts of Hryshyne, Russian forces advanced along the left bank of the Hryshynka River. They took control of the southern banks of both ponds and reached the immediate approaches to Myrne. A tactical “pocket” north of the farms between Rodynske and Novooleksandrivka has been eliminated. There are ongoing engagements in the area of the “Vodyana” Mine No. 2 and the Vodyanyi Yar ravine.

To the east, the advance continued in the tactical “pocket” near Rodynske and toward Shevchenko. In Shevchenko, Russian units are attacking Ukrainian forces using the village as a fortified area. The advance continues toward Dobropillia along the highway in the Novooleksandrivka area. Russian units now control almost the entire village. East of the village, fighting continues for territory near the Hryshynka River and in forested areas.

Zaporizhzhia Direction

In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, Russian units are advancing towards Huliaipilske from Myrne and Belogorye, and are also enveloping Charivne. The road from Omelnyk to Huliaipole runs north of these settlements. It is the Ukrainian side’s main logistical route for supplying weapons and reserves to the front line in this sector. If Russian troops reach this road, they will control the logistics of Ukrainian units and be able to completely cut off the tactical “pocket” where Ukrainian forces remain between Dorozhnianka and Huliaipilske.

In the eastern sector, Russian troops are gradually pushing Ukrainian forces back from Oleksandrohrad. There was a long period of inactivity in this area, but recently, new Russian attacks toward the Vovcha River were reported. The heaviest fighting is taking place on the left bank of the Vovcha River. Ukrainian units are striving to prevent Russian units from consolidating their position near the “Novopavlivskyi Lis” nature reserve. Nevertheless, Russian assault groups have crossed the water barrier in several places and are accumulating in the forested area and attacking Lisne. Capturing this settlement will allow the formation of a stable bridgehead on the right bank of the Vovcha and provide fire control for “East” units over Ukrainian formations’ supply routes in the “Dibrovskyi” nature reserve. The positions of Ukrainian units critical to defending Velykomikhailivka are located here. Losing them would mean the garrison of the settlement would fall into a “fire bag.”

Fighting continues on the outskirts of Verkhnia Tersa and Vozdvizhevka on the western flank. Meanwhile, Russian troops are advancing westward along the eponymous river to control the Ukrainian crossings at Kopani, while also attacking the Huliaipilske area.

Kharkiv Direction

Fighting continues southwest of Vovchansk in the Burluk area. Russian troops are attempting to establish a foothold in Verkhnya Pysarivka and are advancing toward Losevka. Meanwhile, Russian troops continue to capture new positions in the border zone of the Kharkiv region to the east.

Over the past two weeks, Russian troop activity has significantly increased on both banks of the Vovcha. Zybine and Vovchanski Khutory are under Russian control, and fighting has begun in Pokaliane and Bochkove. While the “North” grouping previously advanced on a relatively narrow sector of the front in the Kharkiv region, enabling the Ukrainian forces to defend with limited troops, Russian units are now advancing along nearly the entire line of contact.

Given the dynamics of combat operations in the sector and the general direction of advance of Russian units, it is possible that Russian troops will soon take control of Mala Vovcha and Mykolaivka. This would allow them to unite the bridgeheads with units operating in the Nesterne area. This is consistent with the general trend of advancing in the border zone in the neighboring Slobozhanske and Sumy areas.

Conclusion

Analysis of the operational situation indicates that high-intensity combat operations persist in all directions. In the Sumy area, Russian units are advancing systematically, wearing down the Ukrainian reserves transferred from the Donbas region. In the direction of Dobropillia, the clearing of Hryshyne and the advance toward Novooleksandrivka, as well as the fighting over the mines, are creating conditions for a further offensive on Dobropillia, despite the Ukrainian side’s active use of drones. In the Zaporizhzhia area, Russian troops have crossed the Vovcha River and are approaching Charivne, which would cut off key Ukrainian unit logistical routes. In the Burluk area, Russian troops have expanded their presence along the border and advanced towards Bochkove, demonstrating their ability to increase pressure along the entire line of contact and forcing the Ukrainian side to spread its reserves.

In the context of international politics, an important event was the statement made by Florian Philippot, the leader of the French “Patriots” party. On X, he called the European Union’s decision to approve a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine shameful. He stated that every French person, from the youngest to the oldest, had just written a check to Volodymyr Zelensky, and that this sum would never reach needy French farmers, hospitals, or those in need. The politician also advocated for France’s exit from the European Union. Earlier, the president of the European Council, António Costa, announced that the EU had officially adopted the 20th package of sanctions against Russia and approved the loan of 90 billion euros to Ukraine.

The Kremlin has repeatedly stated that Russia will withstand the sanctions that the West began imposing several years ago and continues to intensify. Moscow noted that the West lacks the courage to admit the failure of anti-Russian sanctions. The French politician’s statement reflects the growing discontent in European countries regarding militarization and the prioritization of financial support for Kyiv over social needs. This sentiment, coupled with the successful offensive of Russian troops, poses an additional risk to the unity of the Western coalition.
