Despite the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to contain large Russian forces in battles in the Russian border Kursk region, the pace of Russian advance is growing on the Donbass frontlines. The Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk People’s Republic remains one of the most dangerous for the Ukrainian military. More and more settlements are coming under Russian control one after another.
Another Russian victory was officially reported on August 12. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the full control of the village Lisichnoe in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to preliminary reports, the village of Sviridonovka came under Russian control too. As a result of the recent attacks, the Russian Army launched assault in the town of Grodovka.

The Russian Ministry of Defense summed up that in total, in July 2024, Center and South groups of Russian troops liberated 19 settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Russian troops are holding the initiative in the Donetsk direction, successfully grinding Ukrainian defenses. Currently, Russian forces took control of urban areas in Krasnogorovka. The town was turned into a large heavily fortified stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the outskirts of the Donetsk urban agglomeration. The Russian Army is completing the mop up operations on the northwestern outskirts of the town.
Over the past week, the settlements of Timofeevka and Veseloye have been liberated by Russian forces in the Donetsk direction. The Russian military is completing the mop up operations in the settlements of Ivanovka, Sergeevka, Makeyevka, Kirovo, Artemovo and Zhelannoe.

remember in kursk, the ukrainians haven’t established clear lines of contact. it is a mess. they are just rolling around and taking pictures killing civilians and such all while taking heavy casualties already having 2 brigades lose combat capabilities. eventually they will be pushed out. on the southern lines and eastern lines, territory is heavily fortified and the russians are advancing.
these were nato’s best troops pulled from the front lines there is little doubt of pentagon involvement in the planning of this nato attack on russia . nato’s reckless gradually escalating foolish plan to destroy russia can only result in disaster.
