Russian Army Continues To Crush Kiev Forces In Kursk (Videos)

The Russian military’s Sever Group of Forces inflicted heavy losses on several Ukrainian formations and repelled four counter-attacks by Kiev forces in the Kursk direction, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on November 6.

In its daily briefing, the ministry said that Ukraine’s 21st, 22nd, 41st, and 115th mechanized brigades, 17th Tank Brigade, 82nd and 95th air assault brigades, 36th Marine Brigade, 112th and 129th territorial defense brigades took losses close to the settlements of Daryino, Leonidovo, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Novoivanovka, and Plyokhovo.

Meanwhile, the counter attacks were repelled near Leonidovo, according to the ministry, which reported heavy human and material losses. .

“The enemy lost up to 30 people killed and wounded, two United States-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, one armored fighting vehicle, and one motor vehicle,” it said.

In addition, the ministry announced that Russian air and artillery strikes hit gatherings of the 22nd, 41st, 47th, 61st mechanized brigades, 17th Tank Brigade, 80th, 95th air assault brigades, 36th Marine Brigade, 1st Special Operations Brigade, 112th, 129th territorial defense brigades, and 17th National Guard Brigade.

The gatherings were targeted near the settlements of Aleksandriya, Guyevo, Daryino, Kruglenkoye, Kurilovka, Leonidovo, Martynovka, Makhnovka, Melovy, Mirny, Mikhaylovka, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka, Plyokhovo, Sverdlikovo, Sudzha, and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye.

Other strikes hit the Ukrainian region of Sumy, according to the ministry, which said that the reserves of the 22nd, 47th, 115th mechanized brigades, 95th Air Assault Brigade, 1st Special Operations Brigade, and 129th Territorial Defence Brigade were hit close to the settlements of Belovody, Varachino, Zhuravka, Iskrikovshchina, Kositsa, Loknya, Miropolye, and Pavlovka.

“In the past 24 hours, the AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] losses amounted to more than 250 troops, eight infantry fighting vehicles including two U.S.-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and six armored fighting vehicles as well as two artillery guns, two mortars, and eight motor vehicles,” the ministry detailed in its briefing.

Videos shared on social networks showed some of the Russian strikes that recently hit Kiev forces in the direction of Kursk.

Kiev forces attacked Kursk last August. The Russian military is currently conducting a counter-attack. So far, nearly half of the settlements initially occupied by Ukrainian troops have been liberated.

According to the Russian MoD, since the start of the battle in Kursk Kiev forces have lost 30,050 troops, 184 tanks, 115 infantry fighting vehicles, 107 armored personnel carriers, 1,088 armored fighting vehicles, 817 motor vehicles, 261 artillery guns, 40 launchers, including 11 American-made HIMARS and six MLRS systems, 11 air defense systems, seven transport-loading vehicles, 59 electronic warfare stations, 12 counter-battery radars, four aerial radars, 26 engineering vehicles, including 13 counter obstacle vehicles, one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle, five armored recovery vehicle, and one command post vehicle.
