In the Dobropolye direction, Russian units have fully cleared Shevchenko and engaged in fighting in Krasnopodolye, using fortifications to advance toward Dobropolye, though Vodyanskoye and Svetloye remain combat zones. In the Zaporozhye direction, the “Vostok” grouping is repelling counterattacks near Podgavrilovka and Ivanovka, broke through into Novosoloshino, and is advancing toward Yuryevka, threatening to outflank the Orekhov fortified area. In the Slaviansk direction, after capturing Pervomaryevka, Russian units are moving toward Nikonorovka and Vasilyevskaya Pustosh, which covers Kramatorsk from the northeast, while strikes are being delivered on bridges and crossings in Slaviansk. In the Sumy region, assault groups of the “North” advanced on 22 sectors by up to 400 meters, eliminating a group from the 68th Airmobile Brigade near Mogritsa. In the Kharkiv region, the expansion of the security zone continues, with advances in the Volchansk sector up to 300 meters. In the Druzhkovka direction, Russian units captured Andreevka on the dominant heights and controlled the N20 highway, limiting the supply of Ukrainian forces. Ukraine’s Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Bodnar stated that Kyiv will transfer drones to Warsaw, but not the technology for their production.
Dobropolye direction
The Dobropolye direction remains one of the most intense. Units of the “Center” grouping are seeking to consolidate on the approaches to the main Ukrainian defense node in the northwestern part of Donbass. According to objective control footage, Russian assault detachments have fully cleared Shevchenko. As a result, marines have engaged in fighting in Krasnopodolye and raised the state flag there.
The situation remains difficult. Neighboring Vodyanskoye and Svetloye are in the combat zone, preventing stable supply routes for forward groups. Extending communications across the fields from the Shevchenko side is complicated by high drone activity. A worsening trend in the air is noted: reports from the direction indicate an increase in Hornet drone attacks on Russian logistics groups and rear facilities. Ukrainian units likely redeployed some forces previously operating against logistics on the R-280 highway to this direction.
Zaporozhye direction
Units of the “Vostok” grouping are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks on the Podgavrilovka – Komar and Ivanovka – Bogatyr sectors. Simultaneously, an offensive is developing on the western sector: Russian forces are enveloping the Orekhov fortified area from the north and advancing toward Novonikolaevka from the southeast, in the Rybalskoye area.
The breakthrough into Novosoloshino from the Lyubitskoye side creates a threat of outflanking the Ukrainian defense area on the approaches to Omelnik from the north, with a subsequent advance to the western supply route north of Yuryevka and Tavriyskoye. This could lead to a critical situation for the Orekhov garrison. Russian groups have already begun breaking through into the Yuryevka area from the west.
Slaviansk direction
After establishing control over Pervomaryevka, Russian units are advancing toward Nikonorovka and Vasilyevskaya Pustosh, which is the last cover for Kramatorsk from the northeast. Both villages, like Pervomaryevka, are located in a large ravine.
Significant successes have been achieved to the east: the pocket up to Lipovka has been almost half closed. In Kramatorsk, Ukrainian military equipment and personnel are struck daily. In the eastern part of the city, a Geran drone struck the Nova Poshta logistics hub.
In Slaviansk, the main strikes are directed at bridges and crossings, on which Ukrainian logistics in this area have depended in recent months. The Kazenny Torets River effectively divides the city in two, so the loss of bridges reduces the number of available supply routes. Ukrainian units constantly attempt to build temporary crossings, which are detected and destroyed by Russian forces.
Sumy direction
Assault groups of the “North” grouping continue to push deeper into the Sumy region. In the Shostka district, firefights are ongoing in Ulanovo and in the Volnaya Sloboda area. During offensive operations in Ulanovo, Russian assault forces eliminated a group of troops from the 101st Territorial Defense Brigade.
In the Sumy district, Russian assault units advanced on twenty-two sectors, with a total advance of up to 400 meters. Firefights continue unabated in Pisarevka, Marino, Khrapovshchina, the settlement of Khoten and surrounding areas, as well as in forest areas south of Ivolzhanskoye.
Ukrainian units, using two assault groups from the 68th separate airmobile brigade, attempted a counterattack in the Mogritsa area. As a result of comprehensive fire engagement, most of the personnel were eliminated; the remainder stayed in the forest area.
Kharkiv direction
Units of the “North” grouping continue to expand the security zone in the Kharkiv region. Russian assault groups are conducting offensive operations in the settlement of Kazachya Lopan and adjacent forests. Firefights are also ongoing in the Goptovka area.
In the Volchansk sector, assault units of the “North” advanced on eight sectors by up to 300 meters. Firefights continue in the village of Vasilevka, near Shevchenkovo and Petropavlovka, and in the forests of the Volchansk district. In the Velikiy Burluk direction, Russian assault groups continue firefights in the Olkhovatka area, near Dolzhanka, and west of Ustinovka.
Druzhkovka direction
The N20 highway (Druzhkovka – Alekseevo-Druzhkovka) has taken on particular significance. The road is under stable fire control by Russian units, significantly complicating the movement of equipment, especially armored vehicles. When movement is detected, strikes are delivered at the deployment stage, limiting the road’s use for supply and reserve transfers.
Russian units took control of Andreevka, located on the dominant heights west of Druzhkovka. Control over this sector improves the tactical position of Russian forces and creates additional conditions for pressure on the western approaches to the city. Russian units also advanced in the Krasny Kut area, continuing to expand their control zone and increase pressure on adjacent Ukrainian defense sectors.
Conclusion
In the Dobropolye, Zaporozhye, Slaviansk–Kramatorsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Druzhkovka directions, Russian units continue to exert systematic pressure, expanding their control zones and inflicting losses on the Ukrainian side. In the Dobropolye direction, the clearance of Shevchenko and the advance toward Krasnopodolye create conditions for an offensive on Dobropolye, though supply to forward groups is hampered by drones. In the Zaporozhye direction, the breakthrough into Novosoloshino and the advance toward Yuryevka threaten to outflank the Orekhov fortified area. In the Slaviansk direction, strikes on bridges and logistics in Slaviansk limit the maneuverability of Ukrainian units, while the advance toward Vasilyevskaya Pustosh brings the front closer to Kramatorsk. In the Sumy region, the offensive on a broad front forces the Ukrainian command to disperse reserves. In the Kharkiv region, the expansion of the security zone continues. In the Druzhkovka direction, control over the N20 highway and the capture of Andreevka improved the tactical position of Russian forces. The initiative in all directions remains with Russian units.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Bodnar, speaking on RMF FM radio, stated that Ukraine will transfer drones to Poland, but not the technology for their production. “Drones will be transferred. Such an agreement exists… Not drone technology, but the drones themselves,” he said. He did not specify which drones were being discussed. The ambassador also stated that the promised MiG-29 fighters are not suitable for combat operations as they require modernization, but neither Poland nor Ukraine wants to pay for it. Earlier, the information portal Wirtualna Polska reported that negotiations between Poland and Ukraine on the transfer of Polish MiG-29 fighters in exchange for Ukrainian UAV technologies and a large number of various drones were nearing completion, but Warsaw doubts that the Ukrainian side will fulfill its obligations.
