Russian Army Repels Attacks, Strikes Kiev Forces Across The Front

The Russian military had repelled several attacks and launched strikes against Kiev forces in different directions across the front in the special military operation zone, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on February 11.

In its daily briefing, the ministry said that the Russian Zapad Group of Forces repelled five attacks launched by assault detachments from Ukraine’s 30th, 32nd, 43rd, 44th mechanized brigades, and 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade near Tabayevka, Ivanovka, and Sinkovka in the direction of Kupyansk

Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to up to 210 troops and three motor vehicles, according to the ministry.

In the Krasny Liman direction, the ministry said that the Russian Tsentr Group of Forces targeted Ukrainian manpower and hardware near Dzerzhinskoye and in the Serebryansky forestry. Moreover, two attacks launched by assault detachments from the 60th and 63rd mechanized brigades of Kiev forces were repelled near Yampolovka and Chervonaya Dibrova.

At least 120 Ukrainian troops and three motor vehicles were neutralized during clashes in this direction, the ministry said.

Meanwhile in the Donetsk direction, the Russian Yug Group of Forces carried out strikes on Ukrainian manpower and hardware near Novoye, Krasnoye, Kleshcheyevka and Kurdyumovka, the ministry said. It added that 11 attacks launched by units from Ukraine’s 24th, 42nd mechanized brigades, 79th Air Assault Brigade and 114th Territorial Defence Brigade were repelled near Belogorovka, Bogdanovka, Mayorsk, Leninskoye, Novgorodskoye and Novomikhailovka.

Some 325 Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded in this direction, the ministry said, adding that one tank, two armored fighting vehicles, six motor vehicles and one D-30 towed howitzer were also destroyed.

In the South Donetsk direction, the ministry said that the Russian Vostok Group of Forces supported by artillery inflicted losses on Ukrainian manpower and hardware gatherings near Shevchenko, Vodyanoye and Priyutnoye.

According to the ministry, Kiev forces lost some 150 Ukrainian troops and three motor vehicles were destroyed in this direction.

And in the Kherson direction, Russian forces repelled an attack launched by Ukraine’s 117th Mechanised Brigade near Novopokrovka, the ministry said. The forces also inflicted losses on gatherings of manpower and hardware near Verbovoye, Rabotino , Tyaginka, Ivanovka, Lvovo, Berislav and Mikhailovka, it added.

Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 50 troops, nine motor vehicles, one American-made M777 towed howitzer as well as one D-20 and one D-30 towed howitzers.

In its briefing, the ministry also provided the following information:

Operational-Tactical Aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, and Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces wiped out one command post of the AFU 3rd Assault Brigade near Novogrodovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), one aviation ammunition depot, as well as engaged AFU manpower and hardware in 119 areas over the past 24 hours.

Air defense units intercepted 30 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Orlyanksoye (Kharkov region), Proletarka, Peschanovka, Novaya Myachka, Druzhbovka, Obryvka (Kherson region), Krivosheyevka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Kleshcheyevka, Kamenka, and Artyomovsk (Donetsk People’s Republic).

In total, 570 airplanes and 265 helicopters, 12,196 unmanned aerial vehicles, 464 air defense missile systems, 14,959 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,218 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 8,012 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 18,469 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

While the Russian military maintains the upper hand in the battlefield, Kiev forces continue to receive massive support from their backers in the West. Despite its recent failures and heavy losses, the Kiev regime may be planning for a new counteroffensive.
