Russian Army Repels More Ukrainian Attacks, Strikes Several Gatherings & Ammo Depots (Videos)

The Russian military has repelled another wave of Ukrainian attacks and wiped out several gatherings and ammunition depots, according to the October 1 briefing of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In the Donetsk direction, the Russian Yug Group of Forces repelled ten attacks by Ukraine’s 110th mechanized, 3rd assault and 118th territorial defense brigades close to Andreevka, Kleshcheyevka, Krasnogorovka and Kurdyumovka.

Up to 150 Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded during the fighting in this direction, the ministry said, adding that two tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, three motor vehicles, one Strela-10 air defense system and one Plastun electronic intelligence station were destroyed.

One Polish-made Krab self-propelled howitzer and one D-20 towed howitzer were also hit by the group’s counter-battery fire.

In the Krasny Liman direction, the Russian Tsentr Group of Forces repelled three attacks by the 63rd Mechanised Brigade and the 12th Azov Special Forces Brigade close to Chervonaya Dibrova and in the Serebryanskoye forestry.

The group also targeted gatherings from the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades near Torskoye and in the Serebryanskoye forestry.

Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 65 troops, two armored fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks and two D-30 towed howitzers, according to the ministry.

In the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Vostok Group of Forces repelled four attacks by the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade close to Priyutnoye.

The group’s aviation and artillery also targeted several gatherings of manpower and equipment from the 72nd mechanized, 58th mechanized infantry and 127th territorial defense brigades near Ugledar, Novomikhailovka and Urozhaynoye.

The ministry said that 35 Ukrainian troops and two motor vehicles were neutralized in this direction. In addition, a British-made FH70 towed howitzer, a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher and two D-20 towed howitzers were destroyed by counter-battery fire.

In the Zaporozhye direction, two attacks by Ukraine’s 65th and 117th mechanized brigades were repelled by Russian forces close to Rabotino and Verbovoye. A series of air and artillery strikes also hit gatherings from the 65th Mechanised Brigade to the north of Rabotino.

Up to 30 Ukrainian troops, one tank, two armored fighting vehicles and two motor vehicles were neutralized in this direction, according to the ministry. Three towed howitzers, one D-20, one D-30 and one American-made M777, were also hit by counter-battery fire.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian Zapad Group of Forces launched strikes against gatherings of manpower and equipment form the 14th, 32nd mechanized and 25th airborne brigades close to Zagoruikovka, Ivanovka, Rozovka and Novoselovskoye.

The strikes neutralized 25 Ukrainian troops and two motor vehicles. Counter-battery fire also hit one Msta-B howitzer and one BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher.

Moreover, an ammunition depot of the 1st Special Operations Brigade was targeted and destroyed in the outskirts of Volchansk.

Meanwhile in the Kherson direction, Kiev forces lost 30 troops, two motor vehicles and one D-30 towed howitzer to Russian military fire. Two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were also targeted on Pereyaslavsky Island. In addition, a warehouse of missile and artillery weapons was wiped out near Snegirevka.

The Russian MoD also provided the following details during its briefing:

Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Group of Forces have engaged AFU manpower and hardware in 103 areas during the day.

One P-18 air target detection and tracking radar station was destroyed near Nikanorovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

In addition, the command and observation post of AFU 110th, 67th mechanized brigades close to Avdeevka, manpower and hardware of the 72nd Mechanised Brigade near Dachnoye (Donetsk People’s Republic), and the 38th Marine Brigade at the loading station close to Ukrainka (Zaporozhye region) were hit.

Air defense systems have shot down one Su-25 airplane of Ukrainian Air Force near Kleshcheyevka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Five HIMARS MLRS shells and one U.S.-made JDAM aerial guided bomb were shot down.

Moreover, 37 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down near Kremennaya, Krivosheevka, Verkhnekamenka, Belogorovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Petrovskoye, Mariynka, Staromlynovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), Ocheretovatoye, Novofedorovka, and Vishnevoye (Zaporozhye region).

In total, 483 airplanes and 250 helicopters, 7,314 unmanned aerial vehicles, 439 air defense missile systems, 12,247 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,159 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 6,611 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 13,656 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

In addition, the Russian MoD released videos showing recent strikes on Ukrainian gatherings, ammunition depots and bridges in different directions. The strikes were carried out with precision-guided glide bombs, artillery rounds and ballistic missiles.

Earlier in the day, Russian air defenses intercepted five Ukrainian suicide drones over the Smolensk region and a sixth one over the region of Krasnodar. Two Ukrainian Grom-2 ballistic missiles were also successfully intercepted over the Crimean Peninsula.

Ukrainian human and material losses are mounting. Despite this, the Kiev regime will not likely halt the failing counteroffensive or resume peace talks with Russia in order to appease its backers in the West who provided more than $200 billion in military aid.
