Kiev forces had sustained heavy losses as a result of Russian strikes in the directions of Donetsk, Krasny Liman and South Donetsk, Russian military sources reported on October 11.
In the Donetsk direction, warplanes of the Russian Yug Group of Forces targeted the deployment sites of three Ukrainian brigades, spokesman Vadim Astafyev told TASS.
“Warplanes of the Southern Battlegroup delivered strikes at temporary deployment sites of the Ukrainian army’s 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade and a border guard detachment near the settlement of Dyleyevka, 81st Air Mobile Brigade near Seversk and 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade in Avdeyevka,” the spokesman said.
The group’s warplanes also struck gatherings of Ukrainian manpower and equipment in Lisichansk, Soledar-Artyomovsk, Avdeyevka and Maryinka, according to the spokesman.
In addition, Astafyev said that TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems of the group targeted gatherings of Ukrainian troops close to Andreyevka.
A Ukrainian stronghold in Spornoye and a drone control post in Pervomaiskoye were also targeted, according to the spokesman, who noted that several positions near Vesyoloye and Pisetskoye were struck too.
Moreover, three Ukrainian 120 mm mortars in Avdeyevka, Petrovskoye and Pervomaiskoye were destroyed by counter-battery fire. Six FPV suicide drones and three Mavic reconnaissance drones were also shot down by the group, according to Astafyev.
In the Krasny Liman direction, the Russian Tsentr Group of Forces announced that it had targeted several units from the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of Kiev forces close Torskoye area and in the Serebryanskoye forestry.
Up to 15 Ukrainian artillery crews were also uncovered and overwhelmed by the group’s counter-battery fire. The Group also launched artillery and missile strikes against temporary deployment points near Konstantinovka.
Meanwhile in the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Vostok Group of Forces said that it had repelled an attack by Ukraine’s 79th Mechanised Brigade to the south of Novomikhailovka and three attacks by the 127th Territorial Defence Brigade to the northwest of Priyutnoye.
The group’s artillery also neutralized a Nota electronic warfare station close to Novomikhailovka. In addition, three mortars of Kiev forces were destroyed by counter-battery fire and TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems wiped out gatherings near Novomikhailovka, to the north of Nikolskoye and in Urozhaynoye.
Moreover, the group’s warplanes launched strikes against temporary deployment sites and gatherings of the 79th Airborne Brigade near Novomikhailovka, the 72nd Mechanised Brigade close to Konstantinovka, Vodyanoye and to the northwest of Nikolskoye, the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade near Staromayorskoye and the 58th Motorised Brigade close to Urozhaynoye and Novodonetskoye.
In addition, Russian media shared videos showing recent strikes with Lancet loitering munitions against six artillery pieces of Kiev forces, including at least one American-made M777 towed howitzer, one French-made CAESAR self-propelled howitzer and one American-made M109 self-propelled howitzer, in different directions.
Meanwhile, the Kiev regime continues to launch attacks on Russian territory. Two suicide drones were shot down by Russian air defense over the Bryansk on October 11 morning, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. No casualties or material losses were reported.
The Ukrainian counteroffensive, which began more than four months ago, is nearing complete failure. Despite sustaining heavy human and material losses, Kiev forces are yet to break through the Russian military’s defensive lines in any direction.

good point, except the part where all the wreckage, burning equipment, flaming vehicles, exploding munitions and all those are things. also a reminder even if you don’t directly hit the target near misses can still damage and place equipment out of operation which is also beneficial as it means that weapon won’t be used for some time against your forces and the enemy has to recover repair and transport which puts more at risk.

as i said many times, lancet wuld be perfect with an at least doubled warhead. because as many videoclips proof, without an accurate and direct hit, many hitted targets are only damaged and can be repaired and pulled back to the front.
as i said earlier, many times the ukrainians don’t recover these vehicles. the russians have a practice of damaging some vehicles then using the vehicle to lure i’m additional resources of ukraine and then strike again. lots of secondary strikes are usually committed. also when the drone just damages, artillery is usually the followup as you’ll see. most destroyed assets are surrounded by craters for that reason.

i only count total destruction if i see secondary explosions and fires , too many times these hit trees or merely damage the machine or some things nearby, usually with few losses of soldiers. 152 and 122 mm artillery hits and krasnodar missile/shells and iskander and khinjal can destroy even if not a direct hit they are so powerful, and the fab bombs.
