One November 10, Russian air defenses intercepted nearly a hundred drones while repelling one of Ukraine’s largest attacks to date on the capital Moscow and several other Russian regions.
The attack began early in the morning, with the Russian Ministry of Defense reporting the interception of 23 Ukrainian drones.
“During the past night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-type UAVs [unmanned aerial vehicles] against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. Air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 23 Ukrainian UAVs,” the ministry said in a statement.
In total, 17 drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, three over the Rostov region, two over the Belgorod region and one over the Kursk region, according to the ministry.
Later in the morning, an even larger wave of Ukrainian drones attacked Russian territory, with the main target being Moscow.
The Russian MoD said in a statement that at least 70 drones were shot down, with 34 of the interactions taking place near the capital.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin wrote on his official channel on Telegram that drones were intercepted close to the settlements of Domodedovo, Ramenskoye and Kolomna to the south east of the capital. Videos showing some of the interceptions were posted to social networks.
In Ramenskoye district, a drone went down in the settlement of Stanovoye, setting two homes on fire, Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyev said on Telegram, adding that a 52-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel and hospitalized with burns to her face, neck and arms.
Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky international airports have announced suspension of their operations due to the drone attack.
Besides the 34 drones downed over Moscow, 14 others were intercepted over Bryansk, seven over the Oryol and Kaluga regions, six over Kursk, and two over the Tula region, according to the Russian MoD. No losses were reported in any of these regions.
The Kiev regime escalated its attacks against the Russian population recently in what appears to be an attempt to provoke public unrest in the country. These attacks are however having no impact on the situation on the battlefield, where the situation of Kiev forces continues to worsen.
Despite failing, the latest large-scale Ukrainian drone on Moscow attack will likely provoke a fierce response from the Russian military.

meanwhile ukrainian air defense shot down 62 of 145 shahed-type drones overnight, which means that 83 have hit their target. this happens almost every night now and is another indicator for an imminent russian winter offensive. the russians are trying to destroy all logistic hubs in the ukrainian rear to paralyze the enemy before they are starting to advance.
i have to agree, the best way to get rid of this ukronato mosquitoe problem it to occupy the swampland and drain the swamp personally, summat trump will never do, since he’s the fat crocodile king of the swamp… russia is going to hit hard this winter and ice the banderites and zionists hiding under swastika false flags…
it was always about russia, from the beginning. replacement of the world population.
so khazarian death wish has nothing to do with it???? hmmmm…. i’m going to have to disagree…. the kalurgy plan is also a huge fail, after the invaders see how shitty uk hotels are, how tiny the rooms are, the vax-sterilzed libtard bitches that aren’t worth the effort to rape, the stupid high prices, the rain, the cold, the clouds, no sun, more rain, yeah, they find their passport reet fast for a free ride home… faster than a somalia kid with a mcdonalds coupon.
is that a bayraktar ?
no, it’s a flying cooked goose.
look to be a ukr replica to byatcar, is kanikaze drone and engine sound like a siren :)
resistance is futile, sayeth the iceman.
the fact is nothing was thwarted. the drones ended up in moscow after trave hundredes of km in russ territory.
the rus responsibles for the air defence should be fired, because its a joke that these drones fly hundrets of miles to moscow without been tracked and destroyed far before. so for that there must be much more radar and air defence units near the ukro borders. an can somebody explain why after nearly 3 years of war the main railways, highways, airports and bridges to the west, still supplying ukros, are still not destroyed?
how does anyone know for a fact that they are flying hundreds of miles from ukraine to hit moscow?… why does russia continue to allow foreign nationals working for western government intel from western europe u.k.u.$. for the past 10 years that could more easily set up logistics hubs inside russia for the parts and fly them inside the country less than 1 mile???… vitaly churkin rip.
