The area of Kurakhovo remains one of the most dangerous battlefields for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the statements of Ukrainian military officials about the stabilization of the front, the Russian army continues its advance achieving new victories every day.
On November 27th, the footage from the front confirmed Russian control of the village of Berestki located on the northern bank of the water reservoir. Soldiers of the 11th Brigade of the 51st Army of the ARmed Forces of the Russian Federation secured their control of the settlement and raised their flag in its center. The Russian Ministry of Defense is expected to officially confirmed the full control of Berestki in the coming days when the mop up operations are completed and control of the areas nearby is secured. On November 27th, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed control of Navaya Ilyinka located on the eastern outskirts of Berestky.
The loss of Berestki increases threat to the Ukrainian garrison is Stary Terny located nearby. This village offers control of the damaged dam on the western bank of the reservoir. Control of it will allow the Russian military surrounding the entire Ukrainian grouping in Kurakhovo. At the moment Russian forces are approaching Stary Terny from the eastern and northern directions. After they took control of Berestky, they are already expanding their zone of control near the village along the shore. North of Stary Terny, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempt counterattacks to stop Russian advance in Sontsovka and near this village.

On the southern flank of the Kurakhovo direction, the Russian military is expanding its zone of control northwest of Dalnoe, eliminating Ukrainian forces in the pocket east of Uspenovka.
Units of the Russian 68th Army Corps have almost completed the mop up operations the forest area west of Elizavetovka and approached the outskirts of the village of Veselyi Gai. At the same time, the assault groups of the 39th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 1472nd Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment repelled Ukrainian forces from the western outskirts of Trudovoe. Russian forces are only 2 kilometers away from Konstantinipolskoe.
Meanwhile, heavy battles are ongoing in Kurakhovo, where Russian forces began assault on Ukrainian positions in the apartment buildings in the center.
