Last night, numerous explosions thundered in Ukraine as a result of a new wave of Russian strikes. Russian forces used both strike UAVs and missiles in the combined attack. Ukrainian authorities confirmed that Russian forces reached their targets in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhie regions.
The energy infrastructure was damaged as a result of a missile strike in the city of Krivyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to the mayor of the city, more than 20 private houses were also damaged. The city’s water and electricity supplies were disrupted. A civilian man was reportedly slightly wounded.
The local authorities also reported damage to ‘a private enterprise’ in the Sinelnikovsky district in the south-east of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The facility was reportedly struck by Russian UAVs. Several power lines were also damaged in the region.
Explosions also thundered in the city of Zaporozhye which is under the control of the Ukrainian military. The local authorities claimed that two missile strikes struck targets on the outskirts of the city, while at least Russian drones also targeted the city.
The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly stated that the strikes only target military and related energy facilities in Ukraine. Despite Kiev’s attempts to accuse the Russian military of the attacks on civilians, Russian high-precision strikes continue destroying Ukrainian military and energy infrastructure, without killing a single civilian.
