Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu send 2 notes to Pentagon chief James Mattis but the Pentagon over the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty issue and Kuridsh-Arab tensions in the US-controlled area in northeastern Syria, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov told reporters on December 15.

The first note adressed the current situation in northeastern Syria and “expressed deep concern about growing tensions between the Kurds and Arabs in the US-controlled areas east of the Euphrates River.”

It note said that the US-supported “autonomous administration” had achieved progress neither at the political level nor in the restoration of peaceful life. The message added that oil smuggling from the US-controlled areas negatively affected the Syrian economy’s reconstruction prospects.

“Two thousand militants still control nine settlements located along the east bank of the Euphrates River, while at least 1,500 civilians have been killed there in the US-led coalition’s airstrikes,” Konashenkoiv stressed. He added that judging by the Syrian army’s experience, such an area could be liberated in no more than two weeks.

“In the second message, the Russian defense minister suggested discussing the differences in the two countries’ positions on compliance conditions of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty,” Konashenkov said adding that the move highlighted the Russian Defense Ministry’s readiness “for open and specific dialogue with the Pentagon on all the pressing issues on bilateral agenda.”

I am sure the americans took very seriously the russian notes, to the extent, of losing sleep over them…. (sarcasm).

Ricky Miller

The United States doesn’t listen to anyone except themselves. There are literally no two way conversations involving American officials and anyone else. America is a mentally ill superpower, walking around talking to itself. Like those sad sacks one sees walking around down by the bus station having a loud conversation all by their lonesome…

Promitheas Apollonious

my bad then. I was always been thinking they are puppets following orders.

Ricky Miller

No worries. I’m going back to watching Max Keiser on RT.

Promitheas Apollonious

enjoy then.

Tudor Miron

That wasnt a note to americans (than it would not be made public). Those are notes for the rest of the world – it should notice who’s trying to destroy it and who’s trying to preserve it.

Promitheas Apollonious

depending from what point of view you looking at it, is also what you notice…

To me, this indicates a not subtle message of total loss of confidence of uSA’s proper channels and thinks that the folks in the Pentagon have a better grasp of the dangerous and escalating [military] situation.

It’s worth looking at geographically just how little of Syria has Kurdish majority areas. Only 10% of the land east of the river has Kurdish majorities, yet the SDF/YPG/PKK terror organization controls 98% of it with US backing. And the other 2% would have been cleared of Isis by the SAA long ago if they weren’t being subjected to US air strikes.

You are seeing the rise of Kurdistan. It has taken almost a third of what was once Syria. The 35 million Kurds spread across Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Iran have no choice but to unite and protect each other. Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran have been persecuting them for over 100 years and exterminating them. This is a do or die moment for Kurds world wide.

RichardD

Afrin is gone, and the rest of east of the river is on the to do list. Just like all of the other Yinon plan regime change terrorists have fallen one after the other. You can kiss your Israelistan dream goodbye.

R Trojson

What does Israel have to do with Kurdistan or Kurds for that matter. Thought Kurds were Sunni Muslim, yet you believe they are Jewish. I know they are not Christian. Sounds like you are Shia Muslim and deny Kurds are true Muslims.

RichardD

Sounds like you don’t know what you’re talking about or are peddling disinfo. Israel has been up to it’s eyeballs in Yinon plan Kurdish secession machination for decades.

R Trojson

Russia is blinking so fast they cannot think straight. First they resupply al Safa ISIS then just let them go after having them surrounded for almost a year. Now they are defending ISIS east of Euphrates claiming US coalition is killing too many civilians in the battle. That is the way ISIS always fights, from behind their civilian shields. Hajin has already fallen to the US coalition. That is a big first step.

RichardD

Ignoring the march of the Syrian government coalition across Syria isn’t going to stop it. And neither are your lies and whining about Russia winning the war.

R Trojson

How about that great Russian victory over ISIS in al Safa. Russia forced to resupply al Safa ISIS and then just let ISIS go. After letting ISIS go Russia coalition fighters had to retreat to Damascus to hang out in the coffee shops. Or the Victory of those 800 Russian ‘Mercs’ over the US held oil field last February. The lucky ones ran home to Mama, 300 unlucky ones were bagged and shipped… what was left of them. Then there was the Russian fighter victory over the Turkish fighter… shot down by a Turkish fighter.. how can they look more incompetent? I know how they can look even more incompetent, how about if a Russian Military plane was shot down by their own air defense system killing all 15 aboard? Syria’s brightest and best air defense technicians did manage to get the system to fire, unfortunately they fired at everything and anything that moved. Some technologically advanced countries design their air defense systems so it is hard to shoot down your own aircraft.. just a friendly suggestion.

Thank Heaven Putin controls the press in Russia and has refused to let Russians know about any of these great victories. Instead Russian propaganda keeps making up fake victories to feed the sheeple.

RichardD

And your point is what, that Russia recovering half of Syrian territory and 70% + of it’s airspace while sending the blood sucking Jew baby rapers packing with their tails between their legs is a great victory for Israel and neocon Jew vermin?

If that’s your idea of victory, then bring it on until all of Syrian land and air is recovered and Palestine is unified and dejudified along with the rest of the planet so that it is Jew free. And these types of Yinon plan and Jew world order hegemony wars go into the trash can of history where they belong and are no longer a mill stone around humanity’s neck.

lovethemapples

Big mistake from Americans.

Kelli Hernandez

Oh FFS!!! THIS is Russias achilles heel! They are not psychopaths, so they assume the US will negotiate . Has Russia lost it??. Just like Israhell took down a Russian jet the US will do anything to continue stealing Syrian oil wealth & create problems for Russia in Ukraine in Donbass and Lugansk.

Russia MUST SEE the Anglo Zionists for what they are and LET THE SAA LIBERATE IDLIB AND SYRIAN OIL FIELDS. PARK AN S400AND THROW THE BASTARDS OUT
