The frontlines are moving on the Southern Donetsk frontlines in the Ugledar direction. On June 4, the Russian flag was raised in the village of Paraskovievka located south of Mariinka.
The Russian army advanced in the settlement and largely expanded the zone of its control in the village. As a result of the breakthrough, Russian forces took control and secured their positions in the center of Paraskovievka.
Russian forces are yet to take the full control of Paraskovievka. The battles are ongoing on the western outskirts of the settlement, where the Russian military is yet to complete the mop up operation.
The liberation of Paraskovievka from the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine paves the way for the Russian offensive on Konstantinovka, a large Ukrainian stronghold and the logistics hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine north of Ugledar. At the same time, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are expanding the zone of their control south of the village of Pobeda, pushing Ukrainian forces from their strongholds.
