Russian forces have captured one of several Malloy Aeronautics T150 heavy lift cargo drones which were recently supplied by the United Kingdom to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
On October 11, Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, shared a video of Chechen fighters with the captured cargo drone on an unspecified front. The leader said that several other drones were captured by his forces, without elaborating.
Malloy Aeronautics T150 is a cargo quadcopter with eight pairs of lifting propellers capable of moving up to 68 kg of cargo for a distance of up to 70 kilometers with a cruising speed of 48 kilometers per hour. The T150 is designed specifically for moving military cargo and has been tested in extreme desert conditions, beyond the Arctic Circle and over the sea.
The drone itself is transported in a medium-sized case that can be moved by one person. A laptop is used to control the flight, in addition, it is possible to set waypoints for autonomous delivery.
In May, the UK announced that it will supply Ukraine with an unspecified number of Malloy Aeronautics T150 drones for the transfer of military equipment, weapons and ammunition to the front or even behind the frontline.
The step was meant to boost the logistic capabilities of the AFU which were badly beaten in the early weeks of the Russian special military operation.
According to the most recent briefing by the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of 2,211 drones of the AFU have been shot down since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. Many of these drones were supplied by Western states.

The recent strikes against infrastructure across all of Ukraine doesn’t look like losing to me. Recall that Russia has taken the gloves off after the most recent terrorist attacks by Ukraine. Why anyone needs to copy these sorry as UK drones? Any 15 years old kid can build them in their backyard. You can also check AliExpress – there’s a bunch of Chinese commercial drones like these for sale at cheap prices. Modify them a little for long range control and they’re good to go.
