According to preliminary reports on August 17, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation withdrew from the small border area in the Kursk region. The Russian army crossed the local Seim River north of the village of Tetkino.
In order to take defense on more advantageous positions, the Russian military reportedly launched an organised retreat from some border positions. Russian forces prepared new lines of defense along the eastern border of the river.
Before the military forces withdrew from the small border area, they secured the evacuation of the local civilian residents. There is one settlement located on the Russian territory on the western bank of the Seim River. This is the village of Otruba. North of Otruba, Ukrainian border goes along the river.
According to local reports, during their withdrawal, Russian forces blew up two bridges across the Seim River in the villages of Tetkino and Popovo-Lezhachi. The bridges were destroyed when the Armed Forces of Ukraine were trying to approach them.
The area near Tetkino has been heavily shelled by Ukrainian artillery, drones and even military aircraft with presumably NATO missiles since the very beginning of hostilities. Amid the ongoing military operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, the intensity of shelling has increased significantly there. Attempts by Ukrainian sabotage groups to break through the border were also recorded. The Ukrainian military has also accumulated significant reserves in the border region of Sumy. According to information in open sources, the Ukrainian army may attempt quite large offensive operations in the Tetkino area. Their main goal would most likely be to contain Russian forces with battles and stretch the front. The organized withdrawal of Russian forces from the small border zone allows the Russian army to strengthen its defenses in this direction, and the river becomes a significant obstacle for the Ukrainian infantry.
cope. running away is never a victory. if russians had any determination they’d still hold the thousands of square kms they fled from after the initial assault. all of those in the sumy region, and other areas, who were ethnic russian were slaughtered by ukrops or forced into conscription after russia ran away.
it is 500 square km and becoming less daily
ahahahahahahahahahaa
you would know —- you ukrapikunts have been doing enough of it, eh ?
the map shows it is neither a win for the ukrozz, nor is it a loss for russia.

exchanging territory for time to reorganize was already effective in 2023. cope.
now, loosing territory is called “exchanging territory for time to reorganize”? i thought russia have had shaken off soviet type propaganda. why don’t we simply call it for what it is, a surprising attack, well prepaired that caught russians off-guard which showed some incompetency within russian intelligence and hq reasoning.
still, v is for vagina, not victory.
typical moron amerikunt—“amerikans winsome battles lose all wars”. philip slater….”for the people of great russia a strategic retreat is not a humiliation”. geoffrey gorer
again the incompetent gerasimov staff sont know how to stop the ukrainian offensiva…they should ask to lebanese militia which stopped a 30.000 sodiers in a israeli invasion of lebanon 2006 just using 1500 pro iran militia…
…this war reveals two things: the unfitness of western military technology and the incompetence of the russian military!
and that’s why the ukrainians have forfeited 20% or so of their territory, with tens of thousands of ukrainians military personnel killed.
koronevo about to fall then ruskies will flee whole glushkovo district until tetkino or face annihilation ahahahahahahahahahaa
armies are rife with incompetence, same with medical staff, politics, police etc. for example, here in uk police crime solving rate for 2023. is 13.5%. that is because police is rife with political apointees, freemasons and outright criminals, pedophile rings tied to a royal house. promoted are those who shut up and obey, not those who think and take their jobs seriously. however military blunders affect us most as the human toll is enormous and of great concern.
putin and whatever controls putin are behind the decisions not to use basic military tactics, not destroying bridges is nonsensical and shows putins insanity.
also, why russia is sending 18 year old boys to the kursk frontlines?
loser putler should commit sepukku or at least someone in the military should take him out. what a fucking clown he has been.
so you feel that the us strategy with their ukrainian puppet has worked? no kiddin’?
ahahahahahahahahahaa ahahahahahahahahahaa ahahahahahahahahahaa
yeah, the fact that the russians are still advancing daily shows you’re wrong. so, the ukrainian captured three pastures and a handful of villages in russian territory and all you zelensky cocksuckers are pretending russia is now losing the war. get a grip
the bridges were destroyed by the afu, russia was taken by surprise. general mobilisation?
all put put has to do is order the bridges across the dnieper to be destroyed and he wouldn’t need to mobilize anything.
then he’d have to get accross the river to slaughter the nazi piss
putins small non-threatening army doesn’t have enough troops to cross the dnieper or go on any kind of serious offensive so he doesn’t need to harbor any such fantasies and neither should you.
the uky offensive is going well, even if its a suicide mission, optically they’ve brought russia (a great super power) to its knees. humiliating scenario. going onto 3years and the war is no closer to ending.
how much territory forfeited by the failed ukrainian cia project in the last three years?
they went from 25% to 18% and now gainin some extra in kursk. love your cope tastes like heaven vatnik 😘
to it’s knees? because the ukrainians managed to overrun a small border area using 10k troops of which at least one third has died? hundreds of pieces of armor lost…. yeah, great pr victory, but lets see how long they manage to hold on to it. meanwhile, russia conquered more territory than ukraine did in the kursk region. cry harder
well, let’s not go too far, not a hundreds of tanks/armored vehicles, more like tens and even russian mod claims about 2300 ukrainians eliminated which include both those killed and wounded. this is a great embarassment for the russians, a grave mistake that will cost lots of lives to correct it.
for russia to prevent a global war, decisive action is overdue, knockout western isr satellites, and attack all incoming shipment of weapons. a strong message is overdue. western countries are living in a tiktok world of illusions…. bring the war to them.
clown war…!
lets nuke england as a compromise to this mess. they are behind budanov, and budanov is behind this operation. cut the head of the snake
agreed a kinzahl or two or three right on the house of parlament will put a dampener on the perfide albions..
lets nuke england? you can’t even defend your border yet alone…
i’m from england so if you really have to nuke england try to nuke all the politicians please. especially starmer. nuke his house.
hit the spot, man.
as a working class englishman i beg you to reconsider it. we have absolutely no say or representation in government politics and when we rise against government idiotic policy they send armed police against us, imprison great number of us while lackey media calls us far right terrorists. so, if you still have some sanity, move your targeting to the londons city and buckingham palace where all the trouble originate.
smart move to shorten the front, just make it another death trap and hopefully a lot surrender and stay alive especially the forced conscripts!
yes, its so brilliant to create 100,000s of russian refugees and lose 100kms of territory.
okay, this is not at all important in the big picture, a highly unimportant piece of land, good decision honestly.
threats, threats, & more threats.. no action..! the russian military will unleash a swift retaliation if ukraine launches an attack on the kursk nuclear power plant, located not far from the frontline following kiev’s cross-border incursion, the defense ministry in moscow has warned.
putins passive policies has made the russian mod is an impotent joke.
the map shows it is neither a win for the ukrozz, nor is it a loss for russia.

for once i agree with you. this was a fat juicy target that the west could not ignore and russia was counting on it. in the past few days ukraine has lost almost 10 thousand of its best troops and mountains of much-ballyhooed western hardware. as for the retaliation, it will be on november 6th – same day as iran launches its retaliation on israel.
its a clear loss for the russians and shows the legitimacy of destroying bridges and transportation infrastructure. the kremlin is incapable of learning any lessons and learned nothing from their loss of kherson which occurred when the ukrop destroyed the local bridge over the dnieper.
i don’t blame the russian people for this, the russian ruling class is horrible in how they treat the russian people. they humiliate them for putins insane desire to be likable and new peter the great, it is all sick beyond belief. blow up the damn bridges across the dnieper and stop treating the russian people like pawns in some sick talmudic game.
any thoughts on krusty the klown of kiev and how ukrainian policy has worked out?
this is all mimicing the humiliations of the chechen war. gerasimov doctrine involves humiliating yourself to the enemy so many times they give up out of self disgust and pity.
how does the ukrainian military record since the 2014 us coup in kiev look?
the main problem of big russia is little putin. nato knows this and fearlessly raises its stakes.
they certainly are hung up on v. putin.
tetkino zlato.
belorussian.impotentov old timerenko dedov.
so they will take their time to get back these lands. like in donbass. no need to hurry.
only idiot amerikan believes ukie kursk desperation helps ukies–this is a moron amerikan gesture that cements russian victory
blahblahblah bullshit blah.
blablabla bullshit cyka blyat putin ina mo gago ka
half ukie electrical capacity damaged—can they survive winter as russia retaliates by destruction of more ?
another blahblahblah bullshit blah.
the fact the sf doesn’t want you to know about hundreds, if not thousands, of 18 year olds level 01 russian conscripts with zero experience points that were caputured by ukraine in kursk region is mind boggling
conscript reporting!
