Approximately a year ago, Western special services discussed the possibility of bringing one of the opposition leaders in Russia as a “sacred sacrifice” to revive the extinct protest movement in Russia, said the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergei Naryshkin in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Naryshkin noted that the SVR has no confirmed evidence of the involvement of Western intelligence services in the situation with blogger Alexei Navalny.
“If you want, I’ll tell you about indirect data for the first time. About a year ago we received information, it is verified, reliable, that on the territory of NATO countries – I’ll say right away that this is not Germany, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the special services. the question of how to support and revive the protest movement in Russia, which has completely shrunk and is approaching zero, was discussed,” Naryshkin said.
“You know, as one of the options, mechanisms at a serious level, the issue of the so-called “sacred sacrifice” was discussed. Moreover, it was said that it would be better if this “sacred sacrifice” was one of the leaders of the opposition.”
According to Naryshkin, the SVR has no data that this or that victim has already been designated. “But … which is actually the case, unfortunately, our Western opponents use this tool from time to time. Just as they used it in the former Yugoslavia, in Ukraine,” concluded Naryshkin.
A “sacred sacrifice” is understood as a victim of a provocative murder, whose death should cause a wide public outcry, which will be used to destabilize the social situation.
As a rule, a prominent person is chosen as a “sacred victim”.
Over the years, such assassinations have been repeatedly used to launch “color revolutions” in different countries.
Navalny was hospitalized in Omsk on August 20 after he fell ill on a plane from Siberia.
Based on the results of the examinations, the Omsk doctors called the main diagnosis a metabolic disorder, which caused a sharp change in blood sugar.
It is not yet clear what caused it, but according to Omsk doctors, no poisons were found in Navalny’s blood and urine.
Later he was transported by plane to Germany.
After that, the German government announced, citing military doctors, that Navalny was allegedly poisoned with a substance from the Novichok group of toxic warfare agents.
Later, the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany reported that the conclusions of German experts were confirmed by the laboratories of Sweden and France, in parallel, at the request of Berlin, the OPCW is conducting its own research.
In this regard, the Kremlin stated that Berlin did not inform Moscow of its conclusions, and the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that Russia was waiting for a response from Germany to an official request on this situation.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, noted that in a month Russia sent Germany three requests for legal assistance on the situation with Navalny, no answers were received.
On the day of Navalny’s hospitalization, the prosecutor’s office and the police began to conduct their checks.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted that de facto investigative actions on the situation with Navalny are underway, if the presence of a poisonous substance is confirmed, the investigation will be open and de jure.
According to him, Russia is ready to interact with Europe on the situation with Navalny, but needs information from Paris and Berlin.
The Berlin clinic Charite reported on September 23 that Navalny was discharged from the hospital, his condition is satisfactory, the attending doctors do not exclude his complete recovery.
Since then, there’s been sanctions on various Russian officials, and the entire investigation has been “concluded” with the decision that Navalny was poisoned and no actual evidence has been provided.
MORE ON THE TOPIC:
I hope the German social welfare allowance will be enough for this quisling to live on, in his new home.
should stay in germany for his own safety – quisslings are never well received by their countrymen so, better off in a far far away place. sure his administrator, the disunited states of morons, aka the usa, can find him a trailer somewhere so he can join the rest of the trailer trash.
Allowing Navalny to go to Merkelistan was a gift to the NATOstani propaganda effort. You’d almost imagine some people in power in Russia were busy looking for ways to sabotage themselves.
Well, all the other opposition figures and journalists who didn’t leave, died. So I guess the West killed all of them.
A big chunk of them indeed. The rest by the organized crime. Too bad dead western journaslists get lil screentime.
Bullshit. There are 102 political parties in Russia. The soviet EU and the banana republic USA don’t have the moral high ground to give lessons to other countries.
Only midget parties, when a oposition figure goes above 15% popularity in Russia, is assasinated.
Then why Zyuganov is alive?
They certainly don’t agree with you, regarding moral high ground. They see themselves up in the clouds…
Right in the middle of this $hitshow called US presidential election and at the moment the current sitting president questions the legitimacy of the votes, they lectured Ivory Coast and demanded from them to have a “fair and transparent” election.
I swear I didn’t made that up!!
Drug addicts always see themselves up in the clouds. Humm their brains are literally up in the clouds HAHAHAHAHA
