Russian and Ukrainian forces continue exchange of drone strikes in the rear areas. The Russian military claimed the destruction of all 21 Ukrainian UAVs that targeted five Russian regions. LINK In its turn, Kiev could not boast of such successes.
On the night of January 30, dozens of Russian Geran-2 UAVs targeted Ukrainian military and industrial facilities throughout the country. The exact number of the UAVs launched by the Russian military is unknown. The Ukrainian military rarely acknowledges its real losses and often exaggerates its successes. However, even judging by Kiev’s official statements, the night attack by Russian drones was quite successful.
According to the representatives of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in total 35 Geran drones were launched by Russian forces, of which only 15 were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces. Thus, Kiev acknowledged that at least 20 Russian UAVs reached their targets.
Ukrainian military officials have not disclosed the targets of the Russian strikes, but some of the damage is too difficult to hide.

At night, a large fire broke out as a result of Russian strikes in the town of Zmiev in the Kharkiv region. According to local reports, the target was the local oil depot, where several fuel tanks caught fire.
More Russian strikes were reported in areas close to the front lines, including in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration in the DPR and on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
According to preliminary reports, Ukrainian air defense forces were hit in the area of the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kiev region. Explosions were reported in the city of Uman, Cherkasy region, as well as in different districts of the Sumy and Poltava regions. An industrial entreprise was reportedly hit in Krivyi Rih. In the southern regions, Russian strikes were reported in the city of Pervomaisk.
