A precision strike of Russian Iskander missile destroyed a military column of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. It was first reported by unofficial Russian sources on July 8. According to the official report, the military column of the AFU was spotted by Russian reconnaissance UAV near the village of Stetskovka in the Sumy region. As a result of the strikes, 20 military vehicles and up to 65 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed.
The Ukrainian military command decided to send reinforcement to the border Sumy region in response to a series of Russian ground military operations across the border.
