Hundreds of terrorists dead when they were callously running in open territory and pounded by the Syrian Army’s machine guns.
According to a report on Tuesday, Daesh/ISIS/ISIL launched their 4th assault on the Al-Baghayliyah District in 4 days inside Deir Ezzor’s northwestern countryside, striking the Syrian Arab Army’s defensive positions at the Firat Al-Sham Hotel and the Al-Jazeera University near the western bank of the Euphrates River.
The report says that ISIS/ISIL/Daesh was unable to achieve as they expected on Tuesday because of the Russian jets relentless airstrikes on their positions at the Radio Broadcast Tower, the Heart Hospital, ‘Ayyash weapons depot, ‘Ayyash fuel station, Al-Rawad Hill, and the village of ‘Ayyash.
Yesterday, there were media reports that Daesh/ISIL/ISIS had recently gathered a large amount of terrorists to the Deir Ezzor Governorate’s northwestern front, where they had repeatedly attempted to seize the remaining Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions outside the provincial capital’s northern districts.
A military source from the Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard said to a reporter that Daesh/ISIS/ISIL risked hundreds of fighters in a callous attempt to break-through the defenses at the Firat Al-Sham Hotel. Terrorists were foolishly running in open territory, while the Syrian Army’s machine guns pounded the terrorists with a barrage of bullets to stop any advance.
Media reports also said that the causalities of terrorists could not be counted because most of their corpses were left in the contested areas of Al-Baghayliyah.
