At night, Russian kamikaze UAVs struck their targets in the Ukrainian Odessa region. In total, at least 5 strikes were reported at various facilities in the city of Odessa and the region.
During the attack, Russian kamikaze UAVs were used together with false targets aimed at distraction of Ukrainian air defence forces.
The local Ukrainian officials confirmed the attack and reported that fire had broken out at one of the enterprises in Odessa. There were no injuries, the speaker of the regional military administration wrote. By morning, the fire was reportedly eliminated.
The numerous videos from the region confirmed that there was at least one powerful explosion as a result of the strike. Photos showed that the large fire was not extinguished by the morning. The explosions heard after the strike confirm that the military facility was destroyed.
The UAVs reportedly hit the Ukrainian Schkolny airfield located on the outskirts of the city of Odessa. The airfield is still actively used by the Ukrainian military, including to launch drone attacks on the Russian territory. An air terminal building, an aircraft repair plant are located on the airfield which hosts aircraft of the border troops of Ukraine. Aviation equipment from Ukraine’s foreign patrons, including strike and reconnaissance UAVs, is also often sent to the airfield.
This was the second strike on this Ukrainian military facility in the last few weeks. Significant damage was caused to the infrastructure of the Shkolny airfield.
Footage from the area also confirmed that one of the UAVs hit the target in the area of accumulation of Ukrainian forces who attempted to intercept it. As a result of the strike, Ukrainian air defense means and a group of Ukrainian servicemen were reportedly destroyed.
The AFU attempt to shoot down Russian drones using their “advanced invention” in air defense, which are mobile rifle installations based on paired machine guns and a searchlight that highlights the target in case it is detected. Foreign anti-aircraft guns are also used.

On April 4, an air alert sounded in four regions in eastern Ukraine, including Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk.

If Russia declared peace without taking Odessa Oblast (or Kharkiv) would be the end of Russia on the long run. Since the start of Russian Special Ops in Ukraine last year I commented about taking Odessa and Secure Black Sea as the Main Objective in any attack on Ukraine but seems Russian High Command had another Objectives during Phase 1. Well, Russia didnt secure the Black Sea during the Storm of Kiev, Kharkiv and other cities and wasted their War Tempo over Ukraine Army. Ukrops recover from initial shock and after all Ukraine have more chances of become a nail in the shoes of Russia on years to come.

Yes indeed, but they are several players in any conflict other than War Contenders of Russia and Ukraine. USA will intervene if they dislike the results in Ukraine conflict, there also are all the USA puppets, Poland wants some land in Ukraine, Turkey is taking advantage of beign the door to the Black Sea, Israel is abusing Palestine now when everyone else is looking Ukraine and so and so… At the beginning USA hyped Globally the Ukraine Conflict but seems their feedback about Defending Liberal Radical Democratic Order was so bad that USA decided to put Ukraine under the carpet so does Russia now and Ukraine will be under the carpet until USA created another emergency in Ukraine.

Why are there still active airfields in operation after more than a year of war?! The Russian military command has their heads up their @$$. All air fields both military and civilian should have be destroyed in the first few months of the start of this war. The same thing should have been done to the railway lines. If there were no rail lines then it would be difficult to get equipment and ammunition from Poland to the front line.
I have read that when the electric trains stop running (after Russia has attacked the power grid) the Nazis use Diesel engines. Why in the hell has Russia not destroyed the depot were these trains are kept? They want to claim that they are not at war with the Ukrainian people. They are Slavic brothers blah blah blah. They are NAZIS! Ukrainian (Slavic) Nazis need to be eliminated just like the German Nazis were. There is no way to rehabilitate anyone that believes that kind of ideology regardless of their ethnicity. They need to be eradicated like a rodent with the plague.

Not cutting supply lines, air fields, train tracks, roads and bridges is is worst mistake Russia has ever made in this war. I’m a carpenter for God’s sake and I can figure this out.
