The Russian military has destroyed more high-value military equipment of Kiev forces in the special operation zone with Lancet loitering munitions.
Between April 10 and 12, videos documenting several recent strikes surfaced online. The pinpoint strikes destroyed two American-made M777 towed 155 mm howitzers, a Soviet-made BM-21 Grad multiple launchers, a Czechoslovakian-made RM-70 multiple rocket launcher, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled 155 mm howitzer and a Soviet-made Buk-M1 medium-range air defense system.
The Lancet loitering munition was developed by the ZALA Aero Group, a subsidiary of Russia’s defense giant Kalashnikov Concern.
The company produces two versions of the loitering munition, the Izdeliye-52 with an endurance of 40 minutes and a three-kilogram warhead and the larger Izdeliye-51 that has an endurance of an hour and is armed with a warhead weighting five kilograms.
Both versions are equipped with a GLONASS-aided inertial navigation system, a Lidar and an electro-optical system that can detect, track and lock on static and moving targets.
There have been at least 206 documented strikes with Lancet loitering munitions since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine last year. Most of the targets were high-value equipment like howitzers, main battle tanks, multiple rocket launchers, radars and air defense systems.

HIMARS is an American candy bar. All wrapper, no nouget.
Anything can destroy HIMARS if they find them but they are used entirely for limited, almost strategic, hit-and-run attacks. They do not provide direct artillery support like these other systems so they are hidden in cities far from the front line, then they just use highways, fire all their missiles in very short time, and then run away back. By the time their missiles reach targets they are already on the move, so even if you detect their launch positions and sent a drone after them but by the time drones reach it they will be far away. The only way to destroy them is to 1) find their lair and bomb it into oblivion or 2)an airplane patrolling nearby so it can immediately respond (but Russian airplanes are not patrolling there for various reasons).

You guys need to be more accurate with what you report. The Lancets (even Lancet 3s) have such small warheads, they usually ONLY DAMAGE equip, not destroy them. That is useful, but not definitive, and if it’s not definitive, it will come back to bite you in your butt later.
It’s the same now conceded by Iran with their flying lawnmower bombs now upgrading them to 50kg warheads which is the threshold of becoming useful on the battlefield.

Are you blind or just stupid, can’t you see they are definitely destroyed (most of them here), so yeah Lancets are more than “useful”. 3kg or 5kg of HE is more than adequate to destroy most of these systems if directly hit, perhaps not tanks – the reason why they rarely target tanks. But SAMs, MLRS like Grads and artillery, including self-propelled art, are only lightly armoured if they are armoured at all. Also, an explosion will almost certainly detonate their ammo, or SAM warheads, so destruction is almost guaranteed as we can see here. Even if they are not completely destroyed, they are out of action, they need to be repaired, their crew is killed or injured. Not “useful on the battlefield”, according to your “logic”?
Shaheeds are much bigger, strategic long-range drones, their main purpose is to attack stationary objects far from the frontline so of course they need bigger warheads. Any kamikaze drone with 50kg warhead is waaay too heavy and slow to be used for frontline attacks, the reason why Geranium are not used against relatively small moving objects on the battlefield, there’s so point of wasting them. Russians actually tried this, but soon abandoned this tactics. So again, you absolutely have no idea what you’re babbling about.

American-made smart bombs are falling victim to Russian electronic jamming in Ukraine, causing them to miss their targets, according to leaked documents and confirmed by a Defense Department official.
In some cases, the weapons were also failing to detonate due to a technical issue, which Ukrainian troops have since addressed.
