On July 11, the joint forces of Russia and L/DPR People’s Republics took control of the towns of Vladimirovka and Tripolie in the Bakhmut area. Reports from the front lines were confirmed by the representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR.
The LPR press service showed the newly taken positions left by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the border of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
“The front line has advanced far ahead, the units of the LPR People’s Militia are moving forward helping to liberate the territories of the DPR,” claimed the official representative of the LPR PM Ivan Filiponenko.
Tripolie and Vladimirovka were liberated by the allied forces together with the units of the 2nd Army Corps and the 6th separate Cossack regiment of the LPR. The 2nd Army Corps was relocated to the DPR after the end of the operations on the territory of the LPR.
LPR servicemen deployed in the region described the ongoing battles:
“The situation is stably tense. We are engaged in the liberation of the neighboring fraternal republic of the DPR. The enemy, as always, occupies positions in residential buildings, is hiding behind civilians, which can be seen from the surrounding environment. This creates certain difficulties for us. We are slowly but surely moving towards our goal, liberating not only our own, but also the neighboring republic.”
The advance may allow Russian-led forces cut off the road between the towns of Soledar and Bakhmut which remain important strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the north of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

no I’m serious, more than a month ago there were pro-Russian and pro-Ukrainian reports on the control of these cities by the Russian army, and today I discover that not at all, so the front of this area was where the last few weeks? I no longer have the dates but when the Russians took control of Popasna, they went to the east and they stopped taking the town of Vladimirovka, to stay in this position while the rest of the troops took all the north to block Zolote and Lisichansk, so that this area was not under the control of the Russians is strange, real explanations would be welcome and not meaningless messages, thank you
These front lines do fluctuate, so totally possible. Totally possible that troops were moved to capture Zolote and Lisichansk. To me, it seem possible that allies have reshuffled troops from the east, as the front line there is now shorter as pockets in the east have been removed. This might mean new advancement in Bakhmut / Artemoisk – Soledar area. New cauldron in the area planned?

Ukraine now suffers hundreds of battle deaths every single day. And why, for months, the Russians have suffered very few casualties – at least a 1 to 10 ratio – and quite likely much lower.
The mass Russian artillery (with occasional air and precision missile strikes) is doing all the fighting and causing carnage on the AFU.
Those Chechens with the rifles and their volunteers are doing heroic work for Russia.

Remember, the Russian supplied armor , artillery / missiles and sprecialized units but the LDF / DDF are supplying the majority of infantry until their republics are secured. Once they can maintain their borders, the Russians will advance on their own and will not be quite as careful to protect some infrastructure..

I’m afraid the NATO intelligence will now act fiercely to not let the Russians cut off the road, if the two towns are indeed “strongholds” and not of lesser importance. I’m afraid Putin giving Russian passports to all Ukrainians makes it worse, because intelligence assets will be able to move to Russia far more easily and execute terrorist activities there.
