The 9M133 Kornet is a Russian man-portable anti-tank guided missile intended for use against main battle tanks and heavy military equipment. It was first introduced into service with the Russian Armed Forces in 1998. Some Kornet variants employ thermobaric warheads for use against soft targets. The 9M133 Kornet-EM has an increased range, fire-and-forget capability, and an improved warhead.
This particular missile was used by Hezbollah in its recent strike on an Israeli military vehicle (Wolf) near the Israeli-Lebanese contact line.

Did you watch it in slow motion? The first missile hitting the middle of the road 50 feet in front of the vehicle is clear to see. As is the screen shot which shows the center of the fireball in front of the vehicle a second after the detonation after the vehicle traveled 1 vehicle length closer to it. That’s clear in the slow motion.

Pull up the video on YouTube. Go to the gear settings icon, hit playback speed and choose .25, then advance through the video at the 20 second mark frame by frame. It’s shot in 25 frames per second format. There are 10 frames from the detonation to the vehicle entering the smoke cloud after the fireball contracts.
I’ve highlighted the fireball in the screenshot. The center of the fireball is the location of the detonation. Walk the video back and forth using the , and . keys through time to see the distance that the truck traveled from the moment of detonation until it reaches the center of the fireball. The truck is 20 feet long. Estimate, if your IQ is high enough, how far it is from the detonation epicenter to where the truck was at the time the missile detonated.

Footage from CCTV captured the missiles striking the ground because the vehicle housed electronic warfare counter measures. So their may have been casualties, or their may not have been. Hez needs to release the rest of the footage. The 20 seconds afterwards will tell the real story of the IDF carrier destroyed on the road, or having been able to keep driving out of harms way.

There is smoke dissapating in the same place as the detonation. Which is what you would get in the time that it took the vehicle to reach the camera after driving 1/2 a mile after driving through the fireballs.

The Hez video is showing a missile coming from the left side of the vehicle. But those are steerable missiles. So it was probably fired from Lebanon and brought around in a hook for a side shot.
I don’t think that Hezbollah propaganda is helping their cause. One of the other commentators suggested in a reply that the IDF has anti missile counter measures installed on some of their vehicles that caused the misses. And maybe they do. But it doesn’t change the fact that the attack was misrepresented as the missiles hitting their target when they didn’t.

This is a screenshot from the video played at .25 speed showing the center of the fireball as it was contracting to the left front of the vehicle about a second after the detonation as the flash was dying down and the vehicle was entering the cloud of smoke. The armored truck had traveled about 1 vehicle length by this time towards the detonation. The first missile clearly missed, as did the second which detonated a considerable distance behind the vehicle.

Any one with half brain who ever seen fireworks know what im talking about… That vid was most probably taken before or after the accident and was doctored with smoke – to add appropriate light effect of the explosion would be very difficult and easy to disprove as a fake..
