Militant groups operating in southwestern Aleppo released a statment with some fresh threats against the Syrian Army, Russian and Iranian forces deployed in the province of Aleppo. The video released by militants revealed that they possess RPG-29 “Vampir” reusable rocket-propelled grenade launchers.

The RPG-26 was the last RPG to adopted by the Soviet military before the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. The RPG-29 is a shoulder-launched, unguided, tube-style, breech-loading anti-tank rocket system designed to be carried and used by a single soldier. Its range is 500m.

This is not the first time when militants showcase RPG-26 launchers. Such weapons were repeatedly shown by militants operating near the city of Aleppo. Some of them can also be obtained on the black weapon market in Greater Idlib. These facts could serve as another confirmation of reports about illegal weapon trade that involve various forces operating in this part of Syria.

Widespread use throughout Syria since 2012, so sorry if I don’t get the urgency to write an article like this.
Look at them … how foolish they are.. What Russia did to them is just a drop in sea. Their chances to actually achieve anything against Russia are 0.00001% ..in 1 word nothing they can do to Russia or Iran or Syrian army. They should go and fuck themselves to Saudi Arabia if they want to live under sharia laws.. And as well they should never try to reach Europe. Soviet and now Russian weaponry is sturdy, easy to maintain and far better suited for asymmetrical wars. US weapons in particular are over-priced and low quality pieces of detritus.

Russian weapons are also cheaper and most Arab and developing world nations in Asia and Africa have used them since the Soviet era.Even the US special forces prefer Russian small arms like the AK and even MI-17 helicopters in Afghanistan. The M-16 jammed frequently in Vietnam and the AK-47 ruled the day.

The info is about the type of weapon. RPG 29 has a war head, which contains two charges to overcome reactive armor, and it therefore capable to destroys tanks equipped with reactive armor.

Turkey and Saudi Arabia with their CIA masters as buyers have been procuring large amounts of old Soviet era weaponry for their terrorists. It is same model that was used in Afghanistan in the 1980s. This should hardly come as as surprise. Turkey has also shifted 2,000 of these Salafist terrorists to Libya. The 35,000 barrels of oil stolen from Syrian eastern oilfields by the US is paying for these weapons both in Syria and Libya now.
