Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a series of coordinated strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure, logistics hubs, and command centers across multiple regions. The operation involved ballistic missiles, kamikaze drones, FAB heavy bombas, inflicting significant damage on key Ukrainian defense facilities.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in total, Russian forces launched 46 Geran-type attack drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region, alongside decoy drones designed to overwhelm Ukrainian air defenses. Additionally, an Iskander-M ballistic missile was fired from the Kursk region.
Ukrainian mobile fire groups and electronic warfare (EW) units attempted to intercept the incoming threats, but Russian strikes successfully hit multiple targets. By 08:00 AM, Ukrainian sources confirmed the downing of 9 attack drones, while 31 decoy drones were allegedly lost without causing damage.
The most concentrated Russian strikes were reported in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where Russian forces targeted military-industrial facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Local officials called the night strikes the “largest drone attack on the region in months.”
A rehabilitation center for wounded Ukrainian soldiers hidden in the former Solyonyi Lyman Sanatorium was hit by at least two Russian drones in Novotroitske. As a result, part of the building collapsed and a fire broke out in the area. The facility was reportedly also used for the meetings of the Ukrainian military command.
In Kamianske (formerly Dniprodzerzhynsk) and Novomoskovsk (renamed to Samar by Kyiv), a military equipment repair plant was struck, causing a large fire. Workshops producing drones and electronic components were destroyed. According to local reports, a facility involved in optical fiber production, which is critical for Ukrainian drone control systems, was hit.
A series of explosions thundered in the cities of Dnipro and Pavlohrad. They rocked defense industry sites. Additional strikes damaged military-linked infrastructure in Synelnykove.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had recently emphasized the country’s drone production efforts, stating that 11 Ukrainian factories now manufacture fiber-optic-guided drones, with over 20 new certified models developed this year. Last night’s strikes appear to have directly targeted this growing capability, reducing the number proudly declared by Kiev’s leader.
Russian forces launched a series of coordinated attacks on military positions, command posts, logistics facilities and temporary deployment sites of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlements of the DPR, which are under Ukrainian control.
A temporary base of the 38th Marine Brigade was hit in Belozerske. According to preliminary reports, at least 6 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and at least 7 others were wounded. 7 civilian buildings, some of which were repurposed for drone operations, were damaged.
A logistics hub disguised as a civilian store (“Domovychok”) was destroyed by a precision drone strike in Dobropillia. The distribution point for food and clothing items of the units of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed.
Another drone strike destroyed temporary headquarters of the 108th Battalion.
Russian military monitoring also confirmed the strike of Iskander-M missile with cluster munitions. It destroyed the command post of Ukrainian Foreign Legion hidden on the territory of a camp near Vysokyi in the Kharkiv region. According to preliminary reports, at least 19 militants of the Foreign Legion were killed, and critical communications gear Harris RF-7800 radios, satellite terminals, generators were destroyed.
Last night’s attacks demonstrate Russia’s continued focus on degrading Ukraine’s military production, logistics, and command structures. The strikes on drone manufacturing sites suggest an effort to cripple Kyiv’s expanding UAV capabilities, while the elimination of key command posts weakens frontline coordination.
