The Russian Armed Forces are developing success in Ugledar area in South Donetsk direction as Kyiv’s forces are still unable to contain the Russian pressure in Kharkiv Region.
The most recent statement by the Russian Defense Ministry on the situation in Ugledar says the following:
“After liberating Novomikhailovka, assault detachments of the Vostok Group of Forces from Sakhalin as part of armoured groups supported by artillery and attack UAVs are advancing successfully towards Paraskoveyevka and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).
Pushing the front line, the forward units of Sakhalin assault detachments approached the direct road on Ugledar, the only supply station of the AFU grouping holding the city.
Brutal battles take place here day and night. Russian units employ raid tactics in small assault detachments. They enter the forest belt in two groups, the flanks are closed. One detachment goes on foot to prevent early detection, and the other armoured group attacks the enemy using heavy hardware. A tank delivers strikes at the center covering both detachments and clearing the way to the enemy’s positions.”
The Russian military also shared the video from Avdeyevka direction around Donetsk:
“The BM-21 Grad MLRS crews of the Tsentr Group of Forces Mountain Motorised Rifle Formation employed the barrage fire tactics to launch strikes at clusters of enemy manpower and hardware scattered in the forest belt.”

a hot war against russia would last just few hours, if not minutes. and the enemy, blind (no sats) and impotent (all his nuке sites/silos/subs have been neutralized) would be atomically defeated. nato will not be able to retaliate, but if so (for some kind of science fiction miracle), the multilayered s-500 and s-550 air defense system are ready waiting for them; as well as the jammers of course. you poked the wrong bear. now wait for death.
as much as i would like to believe in such a scenario, i doubt the west’s hubris is so complete, or that russians have enough air defence systems across the country to effectively negate even a weakened nato nuclear strike to such a degree as to declare a victory. losses on both sides would be catestrophic and in all likelihood russia and america, with their long and broken lines of communication would cease to be the states we know them as.
ukraine lost donetsk and lugansk when it started murdering their civilians in 2014.
too bad the west didn’t speak up then. now ukraine reaps the whirlwind.

why tell the plan of action of your assault groups? so that the enemy could develop counter tactics?
tactics is changing fast. if something works now, now guarantee it works tomorrow as paratrooper brigade commander from primorie said. same as frequencies of drones. old tactics is not a secret anymore. anyway there is nothing secret in the videos, because it was published by the ministry of defense.
