In 2018 the Russian Army reached an unprecedented level of equipment with modern weapons the Russian Defense Minister reported on its website citing remarks by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during the Defense Ministry’s Public Council in Moscow.
According to Shoigu, no other army in the world has reached such a level of modernization.
“In total, we received over 1,500 armaments and more than 80,000 pieces of equipment. This is a huge number. In general, we are 61.5% in terms of modernity. This level of modernity is not common or rather is not present in any of the armies of the world today,” Shoigu explained.
“We hope to reach a level of 67% in 2019 and 70% in 2020,” he added. According to him, the task which was set as part of the State Defense Order 2010-202 is going according to plan.

MORE ON THE TOPIC:
” Construction of 59 buildings and facilities of a military town on Alexanda Land ”
The correct name is in English fact ‘ Alexandra Land ‘. I would think that this is a translation issue that sparked some old knowledge from deep inside my old brain :)
The link is to some real history that I was not aware of. During WW2 the Germans had a secret weather survey station there.

That was an excellent article. Thank you Florian. :)
‘ Happy non denomination winter festival celebration ‘ John :)
It’s the polar opposite of what is going on with the US military.
This is a good thing I think as the weaker the hallowed and worshipped US Military is, the less US warcrimes we will witness. Falluja , Mosul and Raqqa being just three recent examples.
I like the pun in that sentence. :D
lol. :P
Ah yes, wonderful Russian weapons. Love to talk about how great they are until they get totally destroyed by western weapons in some conflict, and then Russians are very quiet about their weapons again for a few years. Always the same.
Evidence please .
Or are you too busy painting your nails ?
1 word u jew bitch…..
SYRIA
When did western weapons destroy Russian weapons in any recent conflict? Your comment is just assumption that such a thing will happen.
“Totally destroyed by western weapons” – like when? 1945? Or Korea? Or Vietnam? Where are you from, Natalia? Ukraine?
No, she is from Hell Aviv. She recently immigrated from Russia and she is trying very hard to make a life and a future for herself. She is lost . Let her find out the grass is not greener on the other side. Good riddance.
Not the best times to move from Russia to Israhell :)
Just like in Yemen, oh wait …
Natalia T.ranny yeah, mighty american weapons – fat, dumb, screaming transgenders (like you).
9 spacecraft?
Satellite?
spacecraft can only mean one thing. Space Craft. Let us not forget that russians was the
first to fly one in earth orbit on remote control.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buran_(spacecraft)
With trumpet wanting to build I space force it is only logical the russians that have better space technology as well as know how, for space than the americans and generally the west, if they think it (west), russia already has it.
That’s a translation issue. In Russian he said космические аппараты – which can be satellites as well as any other thing build to operate in outer space.
Most likely talking about Soyuz availability.
Communication and surveillance sattelites
Russian current modernization is the result of the first 2012-2020 armament program, which is followed by 2018-2025 program that will mostly modernize its armed forces, strategic and conventional with weapon platforms and technological inovations that will surpass NATO.
Russia started its rearmament program about 8 years ago, while US and the rest of NATO started in that direction mostly late last year, after taking into account the Russian strength more seriously as events in Syria showed a significant disparity in military capabilities.
Russians are bragging 24/7 about its military. This is amateurish and unprofessional.
We Americans never brag. Because our superior military levels are top military classified AAA+ so our enemies dont have a clue about our unprecedented secret Spaceplasma and nano Laserprogrammes where we are generations ahead, and we keep it in the shadows as military professionals.
