On March 25, Ukraine celebrates the day of the Security Service Of Ukraine (SBU). This agency is mainly responsible for terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation. While the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (GUR) is behind the bloody attacks on the strategic civilian targets, like the Crimean Bridge, the SBU is responsible for terror of the Russian population. The SBU organised assassinations of the innocent Russian civilians, including Daria Dugina and Vladlen Tatarsky and attempts on other leaders. This agency is also behind the recruitment of terrorists in Russia, including for attacks on the military enlistment offices, railways etc. The SBU is one of the main suspects to coordinate the horrific terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
The Russian military used its chance to congratulate the officers of the SBU with their professional holiday and launched precision strikes on the facilities of the security service in the capital. According to preliminary reports, the SBU lost a lot of high-ranked officers as a result of the Russian morning strike in Kiev. LINK
But Russian strikes do not stop and continue all day in different regions of Ukraine. The new targets included more SBU facilities.
In the afternoon, new wave of Russian missiles rushed to the cities of Odessa, Kremenchuk and Poltava. Russian strikes were confirmed by local sources at the Mirgorod airfield in the Poltava region. At least two more strikes thundered in Kremenchuk.
Residents of the Odessa region heard numerous explosions. The locals also firmed a large fire, which confirmed the success of the Russian attack. One of the strikes reportedly hit the Shkolny airfield located on the outskirts of Odessa.
Another target of the Russian attack was a sanatorium belonging to the SBU, which is located near the Black Sea coast.
According to local reports, the main building of the SBU sanatorium was destroyed. The attack took place when the SBU officers gathered there to celebrate the anniversary of their terrorist organisation.
As a result of the strike, the secondary detonation has been heard in the area for a long time. A large military warehouse was certainly destroyed.
The territory of the SBU sanatorium was used for storing of weapons and ammunition, including those supplied from NATO to the Odessa ports.
The air defense forces failed to repel another attack. The daily Russian strikes in the Odessa region inflict more and more damage to the Ukrainian military and special services. The Ukrainian military command was forced to transfer most of the air defense systems closer to the frontlines. As a result, the rear facilities are easily destroyed by Russian strikes.
