The Russian Navy’s aircraft carrier group is ready to launch military strikes targeting terrorists in the province of Aleppo in the next 24 hours, Gazeta.ru reported Tuesday, citing a source in the Russian Ministry of Defense. The attack will likely target militants outsde the city of Aleppo, with Kalibr cruise missiles.
According to the report, the Admiral Kuznetsov battlegroup, that includes ‘Pyotr Veliky’ nuclear power guided missile cruiser and two destroyers, has completed its deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and is getting ready to strike.
Earlier today, SF reported that the Russian military was going to intensify operations across Syrian in coming days.
Then things should begin to heat up pretty soon now.

The main targets will be the distant approaches of the Aleppo terrorists where they are concentrated. Primary targets are: training camps, supply depots, and fortified positions. To accomplish finding the targets, they have significantly increased the number of Russian intelligence officers/agents, along with drones and space based satellites.
While the first time Russia used tens of cruise missiles, this time they will use hundreds.
I get the sense they will also be going after heavy equipment like tanks, etc., but it’s still unclear exactly the extent of where they will be targeting the terrorists. They will not be targeting within the 10km of Aleppo. So the question is, where are the terrorists concentrated enough to make it a worthy target of expensive cruise missiles?
The fleet has been doing the workup and training needed to execute the plan. Just in time for the US elections to be over and done with.

The only rotational reason that I can make out of this in advance announcement of a missile strike on terrorists positions, is to give the U.S special forces (and others) just enough time to get the hell out of Dodge, or they will be buried there. It’s the Russian polite way to say get the fuck out of there,now!
