The Russian remote mining system Zemledelie was spotted in action for the first time. It was deployed in the Kharkov region in Ukraine.

The newest complex of the Russian army allows to mine the territories occupied by the enemy at a distance of 5 to 15 km. After installation, the minefield is plotted on an electronic map, if necessary, the mines can be remotely deactivated. This allows to avoid casualties among civilians after the end of hostilities.

“The remote method of installing minefields has a number of advantages. In particular, it is distinguished by the speed of setting minefields, especially in hard-to-reach areas. At the same time, the ability of mines to deactivate or self-destruct at a given time ensures safe and rapid clearance after the cessation of hostilities,” industrial director of the Rostec weapons complex commented on the Zemledelie complex.

The complex is equipped with 122 mm ammunition. It includes a combat vehicle on an eight-wheeled armored KAMAZ chassis, a transport-loading vehicle and transport-launching containers with engineering ammunition. Each combat vehicle has two units for 25 missiles each, it is equipped with a satellite navigation system, a computer and a weather station.

The Zemledelie complexes were delivered to the Russian Armed Forces in 2022. In 2021, the Russian military tested a new method of joint use of the Zemledelie complex with mobile groups of heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A “Solntsepek”.

Yes Gary, they don’t like it up ’em.

jens holm

You dont get it. Most of those mines wont be found unless You step on them. Writing it will be nazis is very optimistic.

2,15% in Ukriane are nazis. They are not even in the elected Parlament with 26 parties and Zelensky is elected by all Ukras.

Russians are or was 17,8%.

Mattie J

And you didn’t read the article properly.

“After installation, the minefield is plotted on an electronic map, if necessary, the mines can be remotely deactivated. This allows to avoid casualties among civilians after the end of hostilities.”

zman

Yeah, he did. This is SOP, ignore the subject, then rattle off complete BS in it’s place. He must have worked for the BBC.

Pamfil Military Academy

Don’t listen to this imbecile motha fucker idiot. Even in my country extreme right movements have more percentage…just a little question: do you have enough courage to declare yourself as RUSSIAN ethnic into a nazi ukrop banderistan, folks ? Please, be honest and respond that ! In fact in Ukraine are 55-65% russian ethics if there would be the case of a clean, real democratic and safe referendum.

Is Russia is afraid of an Ukrainian offensive? Or are they firing mines backwards to prevent their own conscripts to flee

Rusia win, VIVA!

jens holm

Thats not his point. Normaly mines are used as defence. Here they seemes to be used into the Ukra sectors and by that an upside down defence.

zman

Well, as usual with most you post, that makes sense. NOT.

Holholcaust Denier

Normally mines are defense because they are hard to deactivate. Here, they let the advancing army create space and when they want to move over that area, they can easily deactivate. Get gud, holhol.

Ceasar

Are trying to be funny?

zman

Hey, that was clever…but not as clever as the Ukies that mined the beaches…only to have waves set them off. Such brilliance! They are now safe from the sea! The only ones who need to fear an Ukie offensive are the Ukrainian people.

Opercion Z

Rusia just getting warmed up in Ukrainia. VIVA RUSIA!

Sure. The Russians alive feel the heat. They are not welcome by any.

They are in an UN 30 years recognized country, where Zelinsky is more elected then Putin.

they als has normal fair procedures to elect something else by the constitution as well as 2/3 of theit parlament.

How can any apart from Assads, Belarus, Cuba, Eritre and North Korea support anything like that. We dont.

Boar

Well I think that puts a final nail in the coffin for Russia to farm upvotes on Reddit doesn’t it. Oh, the petrodollar is falling apart? Oh, nobody outside of the propaganda bubble likes NATO the terrorist organization after all? Turns out every country that got to experience NATO bombs of freedom is now openly supporting Russia, huh, who would have thought.

jens holm

Thre already are several million loose mines in the world. Many 100 minesweepers desperat try to remove them. So many dies or got wounded by them every year.

A minimum should be to know exact where they are and by that be able to remove them by hand.

Read the article, stupid…or is that a bridge too far for you?

Soleimani

Yes it is.

So much for “minimising civilian casualties”…

Read the article moron…

Adam Kafei

I did. The problem with mines is they don’t, they can’t, discriminate. Sure these claim to have a remote kill switch but all electronics can fail and usually they can be made to fail but the part that really prompted the above comment was the accounts of civilians being used as human shields, tell me, what is to stop civilians being used as human mine clearance material?

Civilians are the nbr1 target for Russia, since 1939 at least

Russians listen, no mercy to Azov, no mercy to western mercenaries, but also no mercy to CNN and other snake fake news!

Make western MSM puppet’s bleed for their lies!

And about Biden and his team pay some US gangs like MS13 to hunt them.

Russia should immediately stop gas, oil and titanium exports to NATO and NATO puppet states. Just do it, the earlier the better.

For compensation put a 30% crisis tax on everybody who owns more than 1Billion rubbles.

And show the world how western corporate mafia makes viruses around the world with their “Bio-labs” they are worse than Mengele!

I wonder why Kharkiev? Wouldn’t the southwestern borders west of Odessa make much more sense, so that rearmaments would not flood in from abroad. Combined with closing the ports it would likely have an effect.

N.N.

Chakow is a major science and industry hub. They at least used to build any aircraft, spacecraft, and a number of weapons, too, as far as I remember. That should give the UAF massive supply chain headaches. Closing the port of Odessa is certainly also quite important, at least from my point of view.

Rondon

I condemn all use of mines no matter by who, they should be and must be banned. Unacceptable. Does this mine vehicle remove the mines? No it does not and I bet it has a failure rate also. What is that failure rate?

Russia is getting ready for the next arms sale and expo. Live fire expositions vs a nato trained enemy. NATO financed enemy.

Saudi should just drop those shitty US imports. They don’t work because they always planned to invade Saudi at one point or the other, or fuck with em via proxies so they do as they are told.

Recent news ring any bells?
