Russian security forces eliminated an ISIS cell that had been planning to conduct bomb and gun attacks in the Rostov region, the Russian media reports. According to reports, the cell was receiving orders from the ISIS terrorist group in Syria.
The cell’s leader died when he detonated an IED. Three other terrorists were detained.
According to chief of the Federal Security Service Aleksandr Bortnikov, six terrorist attacks have been prevented in Russia this year.
