Russian security forces prevented 19 terrorist attacks during the last six months, deputy Prosecutor General Aleksandr Buksman said on August 3.
According to him, all the terrorist attacks were foiled in the preparations stage.
In April, Russian authorities announced that 7 terrorist attacks had been prevented since the start of 2018. Thus, from April to early August, Russian security forces foiled 12 terrorist attack attempts.
