Russian military experts, together with the military personnel of NBCP unit of the Italian Armed Forces, carried out disinfection in two large boarding houses in Bergamo (Lombardy region, Italian Republic).
The teams that carry out disinfection and sanitary treatment of boarding houses include Russian interpreters who provide communication between Russian military personnel and the Italian military, the administrations of localities and medical institutions. Military interpreters also provide all meetings and planning activities with the Italian side.
In total, Russian military doctors-epidemiologists and specialists of NBC protection troops of Russian Defence Ministry, together with Italian military specialists, carried out complete disinfection of boarding houses for the elderly in 62 localities in Lombardy. 66 buildings and structures, more than 430 thousand square meters of internal premises and more than 51 thousand square meters of paved roads were processed.
In addition, Russian Defence Ministry interpreters are on duty around the clock with the medical staff of medical and nursing teams that help patients with coronavirus infection in medical institutions in Italy. The group of Russian specialists of Russian Defence Ministry in Italy employs 13 military interpreters who provide round-the-clock communication between Russian doctors, patients and Italian doctors.
