Amid the ongoing offensive operations in the Kharkiv region, the Russian military is launching precision with drones, missiles and heavy bombs throughout the region, including in the city of Kharkiv. On May 25, several precision strikes destroyed targets in Kharkiv.
One of the targets destroyed in Kharkiv was a large warehouse with ammunition hidden in a large civilian shopping center. As a result of the strike of Russian missile, a large fire broke out in the large construction hypermarket called Epicenter. The facility was destroyed.
Immediately after the strike, Ukrainian servicemen came to the area. Footage from the city confirmed that secondary detonation was heard for hours:
Kiev tried its best to again accuse the Russian military for the alleged attack on a civilian facility. Kiev’s lies are always revealed by clear evidence.
Russian military sources noted that the shopping center belongs to famous Ukrainian billioner Alexander Gerega, aho has been sponsoring the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014. In April, Russian precision strikes destroyed Ukrainian heavy military equipment, including Hurricane MLRS, hidden in another his shopping center.
The Ukrainian military has been using civilian facilities to store military equipment and ammunition since the very beginning of hostilities.
Another target destroyed in the city of Kharkiv was reportedly a dormitory that could also be used by the Ukrainian military. Footage showed that the building was heavily damaged:
The strikes continued throughout the day. According to preliminary local reports, more attacks destroyed a control point of air defense system or MLRS on the outskirts of the city. Footage of the strikes is yet to confirm the reports.
