On May 25th, a missile strike by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the production workshops in the Ukrainian military plant “Motor Sich” in the Zaporozhye region.
The strike was carried out in the morning at about 5 a.m. The Russian Ministry of Defence confirmed that “high-precision long-range air and sea-based missiles in the city of Zaporozhye destroyed the production workshops of the Motor Sich plant, which produced aircraft engines for combat aviation of the air forces of Ukraine, including unmanned aerial vehicles”.
The Motor Sich plant produced the AI-450 engines, parts for the AFU combat aircraft engines, including for Ukrainian Turkish—made UAVs – Bayraktar and Akinci drones.
