On April 30, Russian forces launched a series of precision strikes in the border Kharkiv region. A series of explosions thundered in the city of Kharkiv and other settlements in the region.
The local authorities confirmed damage to some facilities as a result of the Russian strikes in the city of Kharkiv but they did not reveal the exact targets of the attack. Smoke was seen over the city.
More Russian strikes destroyed Ukrainian military facilities in the town of Liptsy located north-east of Kharkiv. Liptsy is an important logistics hub of the Ukrainian army used by forces deployed near the Russian border and assault groups that launch attacks on the Russian territory.
After a series of devastating Russian attacks in different Ukrainian rear regions, the intensity of Russian strikes has decreased in recent days. Currently, most attacks are carried out during the daytime and target the war-torn eastern and southern regions.
