On the night of October 23, new wave of explosions thundered in different Ukrainian regions. Russian combined strikes with UAVs and missiles targeted new Ukrainian military facilities.
The local sources reported Russian strikes in the in the Kirovograd, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Khmelnytsky regions. The air alert was heard in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions.
Ukrainian military facilities and port infrastructure in the Odessa region again came under massive Russian attack. Ukrainian media confirmed Russian strikes in the city of Odessa. According to the locals, the target fo Russian UAVs was the Shkolny airfield used by the Ukrainian military, including for attacks on the Russian rear areas.
More explosions were reported in the town of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky in the Odessa region. The target was likely the local large freight seaport at Dniester Estuary.
More Russian strikes hit the town of Chernomorsk (Ilyichevsk), where a major Ukrainian Black Sea port in the Odessa region is located. As a result of the strike, a warehouse with components for military equipment, including those supplied by NATO, was reportedly destroyed.
According to preliminary reports from the Dnepropetrovsk region, one of the logistics centers of the Ukrainian military was hit by Russian forces last night.
