Two Su-30 fighters escorted two US B-1B strategic bombers over the Black Sea towards the Russian border.
As the Russian National Defense Control Center specified, the radars detected foreign supersonic aircraft on October 19th. Two KC-135 tankers flew next to them.
“To identify air targets and prevent violation of the state border, two Su-30 fighter jets from the duty forces of the naval aviation and air defense of the Black Sea Fleet were taken into the air,” the center said in a statement.
The fighter jets made sure that American warplanes did not trespass and returned to the home base as soon as they turned around.
It is emphasized that the Su-30 crews performed the flight in strict accordance with the international rules for the use of airspace.
Recently, the activity of foreign reconnaissance aircraft and drones near the country’s borders has increased markedly. The Ministry of Defense has repeatedly called on Western partners to abandon such actions, but there was no reaction. Previously, a Russian fighter jet escorted an American bomber over the Sea of Japan, according to the National Defense Control Center.
This happened on October 17, after airspace control found a target approaching the Russian border over neutral waters.
“To identify the air target and prevent it from violating the state border of Russia, a MiG-31 fighter from the air defense forces of the Eastern Military District was lifted into the air,” a statement said.
The fighter’s crew identified the target as a US Air Force B-1B strategic bomber. The plane did not violate the Russian border.

Around the same time, an incident with the American destroyer USS Chafee took place in the Sea of Japan this week.
It approached Russian territorial waters and made an attempt to cross the border, but the large anti-submarine ship of the Pacific Fleet “Admiral Tributs” stopped the violation.

The Pentagon denied the reports that such an incident had taken place.
While USS Chafee (DDG 90) was conducting routine operations in international water in the Sea of Japan on Oct. 15, 2021, a Russian Udaloy-class destroyer came within approximately 65 yards of USS Chafee (DDG 90) while the ship was preparing for flight operations. The interaction was safe and professional,” U.S. Pacific Fleet said in the statement. “Although Russia issued a Notice to Airman and Mariners (NOTAM/NOTMAR) in this area for later in the day, the NOTAM/NOTMAR was not in effect at the time of the interaction. At all times, USS Chafee conducted operations in accordance with international law and custom. The United States will continue to fly, sail, and operate where international law allows.”
According to a Russian defense statement, the crew of Admiral Tributs radioed a warning to Chafee, letting it know that it was in an area that was closed due to the drills, TASS reported. Chafee did not change course and instead raised its flags to signal it would be launching a helicopter. In response, Admiral Tributs started toward Chafee in order to chase it out of its waters, according to the TASS report.
Chafee ultimately changed course when it was less than 200 feet from Admiral Tributs, approximately 50 minutes after it approached the Russian waters, the Russian state-run agency reported.
Chafee’s actions were a “crude violation” of international rules in place to prevent collisions between ships, as well as a 1972 agreement between the U.S. and Russian to prevent air and naval incidents, the Russian defense ministry said, according to The Associated Press.
It seems that “almost-encroachments” of the sort are ramping up in recent weeks, especially around the shuttering of Moscow’s representation mission to NATO.
MORE ON THE TOPIC:
I always laugh when i see these stealth planes, not very stealth when your travelling with a tanker plane.
All you f35 fanboys take notice, you need tankers for long range strikes. A strike on Iran is impossible, because we can see the tankers.
Tankers are easy targets indeed. But Russian and Chinese radars can detect and lock on to the Craptor and Flop-35 just fine. The Flop-35 os so bad its hard to believe. Inferior range, no supercruise, no supermaneuverability, cant maintain supersonic speeds for more than 30secs at a time, due to heat damage to the engine and the fuselage and it also has inferior weapons range and weapons load. Its a joke. Even Canada pulled out of the program and they are kissing U.S. boots 24/7.
It’s all theatre folks! Putin wrote recently: “Over the past decades, Russia and Israel have gained considerable experience in fruitful cooperation in many areas, as well as partnership in resolving major international issues,” 😂💩🇮🇱💩

With Putin around, Russia will always bend over for Zionism. All the dick riders love zionism.
Oh boy did they a number on you :-)
Sounds more like Ukropisstan… Meanwhile Russia blocked the Greater Israel Project and the New Khazaria project… Oy ve….?
These are just to see if everyone is awake and testing for holes.
american, british and zionist fools need war. Russia, China and Iran prosper with peace. Their economies are not beholden to new york or london investor fund parasites.
