On September 12 afternoon, Russian and Syrian warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on militants’ positions in the southern Idlib countryside.

According to opposition sources, the airstrikes targeted the towns of Sufuhon, Hizareen, Maarzita, Jbala as well as the vicinity of the city of Ma`arat al-Nu`man.

A few hours earlier, warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out two airstrikes on militants’ positions along Syria’s border with Turkey. A day before, several Russian airstrikes targeted positions in northern Idlib.

These repeated airstrikes indicate that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) may be planning to resume its military operations in Greater Idlib soon.

Syria and Russia announced a new ceasefire in Greater Idlib in late August. However, al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and its allies continued their attacks on Syrian and Russian forces.

Let’s Napalm them! Go Russia! Wahhabis are the worst scum on the Earth. Let’s destroy the pest…

Let’s start with Bin-Salman. When the head of the snake has fallen, a domino effect will occur.

Icarus Tanović

Okay, let’s start with the head. Pretty decent one.

frankly

Time and again the forces of Syria and her allies are denigrated. Yet on their own terms they continue to advance against the Empire. Good luck getting them to unlearn what you taught them. Show us the glorious fruits of democracy and freedom. Fat, starving, sick Americans. Even with our precious devices we are stupid.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

It’s about time, and while your at it how’s about some coordinated strikes with the SAAF too, and some support for the SAA on the ground, if you can be bothered. last week the war for Idlib was nearly won but thanks to Putin we got a ceasefire right at the last hour to delay the inevitable victory, so I can’t feel too thankful for the resumption of Russian airstrikes, they shouldn’t have stopped.

Icarus Tanović

That’s called ‘tactics’.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

It’s not tactics, it’s called geopolitics.

Icarus Tanović

Yeah, one can count that in too.
