On March 17, the Russian military shot down a helicopter of Kiev forces over the settlement of Lukashevka in the Ukrainian region of Sumy.
The helicopter was reportedly attempting to land a sabotage and reconnaissance group for a new cross-border attack on the settlement of Kozinka in Russia’s Belgorade region when it was shot down by troops from the 138th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade, reportedly using a 9K333 Verba man-portable air defense system.
A video posted to social media showed the wreckage of the downed helicopter burning close to the Russian border. Russian news sources said that 20 Ukrainian troops were killed in the crash. The sources also alleged that the helicopter was an American-made UH-60A Black Hawk.
Ukraine possesses a single Black Hawk. The helicopter is in service with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Kiev regime.
The tail of the downed helicopter has two white strips, similar to Ukraine’s only Black Hawk. However, the helicopter may also be a Soviet-made Mi-24 gunship. The Mi-24s of Kiev forces have a very similar paint job with two white strips on the tail.
Ukraine lost several warplanes in recent months. Earlier this week, Russian missile strikes destroyed two Mi-8/17 of Kiev forces at a makeshift airfield close to the front in the Donetsk region. There were reports of a third helicopter crashing in an unidentified area of Ukraine.
The Kiev regime has been attempting to infiltrate Russian territory in Belgorod and the neighboring region of Kursk since march 12 to no avail. So far, hundreds of Ukrainian troops have been killed in these failed attempts.

hopefully the pilot was american! 😍
that’s for sure. you know that ukies can’t speak nothing but bullshit out their mouth. they need special school to learn how to operate f16s comando school for imbeciles.
guess we will find out soon when troops can inspect the wreckage up close. :) in the meanwhile, good riddance to the dead ukronazi militants.
arm the good people of the border areas they will know how to deal with this nazi filth.
oy vey that is not part of the script… if russian civilians were armed they would not fuck around the way the russian ministry of defense does, and do guerilla style attacks on ukraine’s sensitive points and supply lines. they’d end the war inside of a day. can’t have that….
no what they need is for both sides to drive circles in minefields and sit in trenches while both sides claim to be winning as their respective countries burn down.
you are part of the “oy vey” crowd. lame keyboard general.
we got trolls . i agree w your comment . arm them to the teeth
well, black hawk is a small helicopter able to carry 10 troops and mi 24 can carry only 8 so the “news” seems to be at least questionable. or russians have some state of the art technology able to kill every passenger twice.
it can carry 20 lightly equipped troops. i agree with you though probably 11 fully armed soldiers and 4 crew maximum although the afu may have pushed the complement to 20 but doubtful. probably would take days to work out how many were actually on board.
oh yeah, that is ay fact indeed.
according to the landing gear it appears to be an mi24.
heliocraft is good, put out the fire, new paint, done…
crew not so good…
obviously pilot was an inferior amerikan–our lgbt pilots best at crashing
our pilot in amerika incompetent like me
sounds like tit for tat relative to helicopter destroyed in transnitria
that looks like the blackhawk. max 4 flight crew, max 16 infantry, lost. nice shooting russia. this is unlikely to deter the suicide raids into russia, but it certainly demonstrate the futility of any further attempts at crossborder terrorism.
hahaha good, must be the first black hawk ever destroyed by rossiya
