Russian Warplanes Attack Several Militant Position In Greater Idlib

File image

In a surprise attack early on September 11, Russian warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on militants’ positions in Greater Idlib.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the Russian airstrikes targeted several positions east of the town of Kafar Takharim and south of the town of Darkush, which are located near the Turkish border.

The Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) halted their operations in Greater Idlib two weeks ago under a new ceasefire. However, al-Qaeda-affilated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies violated the ceasefire on several occasions.

On September 3, the militants launched several armed drones at Russia’s Hmeimim airbase on the Syrian coast. Three days later, a similar attack targeted a Syrian military base in northwestern Hama.

The Russian airstrikes were likely a response to these repeated violations, which are jeopardizing the ceasefire. These violations could eventuality force the Syrian military to resume its ground operations in Greater Idlib.

Irony: on the 18th anniversary of 9/11, Russia is bombing basically the same people that killed 3000 Americans while our own government is supporting them.

BMWA1

Quite!

Pave Way IV

That’s because the U.S. government apparently outsourced that ‘support and defend the U.S. Constitution’ thing to Russia a few years back. There wasn’t enough Americans in our government or military willing or able to do the job. At least they didn’t outsource to Sudan – those guys suck.

Russia: I hope you guys accept USD ClownBucks for payment. That’s about all we make here today.

VIDEOMENABULGARIAEUEURASIA ‘TRANSPARENT WAR’ Concept: Russian Bases In Syria Available To NATO Journalists (VIDEO) by Uran, author at God of War (edited by Vladimir Gujanicic, translated by Drago Bosnic)… https://www.fort-russ.com/2019/09/transparent-war-concept-russian-bases-in-syria-available-to-nato-journalists-video/

No doubt the MSM, will ignore what the journalists have to say. I wonder how they would have reported Raqqa, and what they would see, courtesy of the coalition forces, who were not invited?

Willing Conscience (The Truths

The appropriate response to these repeated violations should have meant both the Russians and Syrians should have already been back in action and going even harder than they were before.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Turkish government has called for extending the ceasefire until the upcoming Ankara-Moscow-Tehran summit despite the lack of commitment show by Turkey to its pledges to drive back terrorist groups from the demilitarized zone, the Arabic-language media outlets said. The Arabic-language Al-Watan newspaper quoted a battlefield source as saying that the terrorist groups, including Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front), have not retreated from the demilitarized zone and continue violating the ceasefire despite the pledges given by Turkey to Russia and end of an eight-day deadline. It pointed to Tahrir al-Sham’s reinforcement of its military positions in the surroundings of the city of Ma’aret al-Numan and the nearby towns and villages in Southern and Southeastern Idlib, and said that the terrorist groups are preparing themselves for an upcoming battle as the ceasefire would end. Meantime, sources close to Ankara-backed National Liberation Front (NFL) terrorist group said that the Turkish Army officers in a meeting with terrorist commanders have informed them that Ankara has asked the ceasefire to be extended until the upcoming trilateral summit between Iran, Russia and Turkey later in September. Despite the failure to remain committed to the implementation of the Sochi agreement, including its pledges to dissolve Tahrir al-Sham in the demilitarized zone, Ankara is trying to reinstate a permanent ceasefire there. Meantime, the Syrian Army pounded the terrorists’ movements towards military points in Southern Idlib while thwarting terrorists’ drone attacks on the government forces’ military positions in Sahl al-Ghab in Northwestern Hama, downing three drones. In a relevant development on Wednesday, the Arabic-language media outlets said that the Syrian Army was fully preparing itself for resuming large-scale military operation in the demilitarized zone as terrorist groups continued to violate the ceasefire. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted local sources in the city of Ma’aret al-Numan in Southern Idlib as saying that Tahrir al-Sham has reinforced its military positions in the city, specially its Southern and Southeastern sections and in al-Tamane’ah with the aim of preventing the Syrian Army advance. The newspaper noted that the terrorist groups have not retreated from Aleppo-Damascus and Aleppo-Lattakia highways, and said that the Syrian Army is at its highest level of preparedness to resume military operations after the ceasefire comes to an end in the demilitarized zone. Meantime, the Syrian Army’s battlefield sources pointed to the dispatch of massive military convoys comprising tanks and military equipment to Tal-e al-Zawiqat in Northeastern Lattakia near the strategic Kabaneh region to carry out military operations against the Turkistani Party and Uigurs. Meantime, the Syrian Air Defense in the Lattakia city downed two drones of the terrorists near Humeimem Air Base.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The bodies of thousands of civilians killed by the ISIL terrorist group and also in the US airstrikes have been found in mass graves and from under the debris of destroyed buildings in the city of Raqqa, a pro-militant Arabic-language news website said on Sunday. “A new mass grave has been discovered in Harreh al-Badou region of Raqqa City and over 15 dead bodies have been retrieved from it,” the Arabic-language Zaman al-Vasl quoted Head of Raqqa Civil Team Yasser al-Khamis as saying. He noted that over 5,100 corpses have been taken out from 16 mass graves and the debris of over 200 ruined building in Eastern part of Raqqa, and said that nearly 700 dead bodies have already been identified. Al-Khamis noted that the discovered dead bodies belong to the victims of the ISIL crimes and the US-led coalition airstrikes on the region. Two years after the occupation of the city by the US and its allied militants, dead bodies and mass graves are still found in Raqqa City each week. In a relevant development in late March, the bodies of over 300 victims of the ISIL and the US air raids, including those of slain women and children, were discovered in mass-graves and from under the rubles of destroyed buildings in Raqqa. The Hawar News reported at the time that the corpses of 304 people had been unearthed from a mass-grave in Fakhikheh region in Southern Raqqa since early January. He added that most of the bodies belonged to the civilians, including women and children, noting that some of the victims had been executed. Meantime, media activists reported that bodies of several civilians, most of them women and children, were pulled out of the debris in al-Adkhar and al-Ta’aminat districts of Raqqa in the past few days. They said the corpses belonged to the people killed by the ISIL terrorists or in the US coalition airstrikes on Raqqa.

TEHRAN (FNA)- A Syrian security source said that the Israeli Air Force backed by the US military launched the recent attack on the Syrian Army’s military positions in Bu Kamal region in Eastern Syria near the border with Iraq. “Yesterday morning Israel using Jordan’s airspace and backed by the American troops stationed in al-Tanf military base raided an under-construction camp of the Syrian Army and its allies in Bu Kamal region near the border with Iraq,” the Arabic-language Al-Mayadeen television network quoted a high-ranking security source as saying. He noted that unlike allegations by enemy media, the targeted positions have been abandoned and no one has been hurt in Israel’s attack. Meantime, local sources also confirmed the airstrikes on Bu Kamal in Eastern Deir Ezzur yesterday. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper also reported that hundreds of the Syrian Army troops have been dispatched to the border with Iraq after the Israeli airstrikes and Iraqi border guards have also reinforced their positions along the border with Syria. Israel launches airstrikes on Syria from time to time in breach of international law and in what is widely viewed as an attempt to win elections or to prop up terrorist groups that have been suffering defeat at the hands of the Syrian government forces and allies.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) launched forced recruitment of elite militants for a fresh round of battle against the Syrian Army as terrorists continue violating the ceasefire in Idlib despite Turkey’s pledge to dissolve and expel the terrorists from the demilitarized zone, reports in the last 24 hours said. “Tahrir al-Sham has taken new measures to enroll new members with the aim of confronting the Syrian Army in Idlib province,” the pro-militant Anab Baladi news website reported. Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours. Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in provinces across Syria. Idlib Tahrir al-Sham launched forced recruitment of elite militants for a fresh round of battle against the Syrian Army as terrorists continue violating the ceasefire in Idlib despite Turkey’s pledge to dissolve and expel the terrorists from the demilitarized zone. The pro-militant Anab Baladi news website reported that Tahrir al-Sham has taken new measures to enroll new members with the aim of confronting the Syrian Army in Idlib province. It pointed to the release of communiques by commanders and Muftis of Tahrir al-Sham that call for enrollment of elite militants for affiliated terrorist groups such as Abi Bekr al-Sediq and Omar bin Khattab, and said that the recruited elite militants will have to launch special operations against the Syrian Army in the surrounding areas of Idlib province. Military experts also reiterated that the measure by Tahrir al-Sham comes against Ankara’s pledges to dissolve the terrorist groups and their retreat from Aleppo-Hama and Aleppo-Lattakia highways. Eastern Euphrates The US new military aids destined for the Kurdish militias arrived in Eastern Syria as Turkey had issued an ultimatum to Washington to set up a safe zone along the borderline. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Thursday that the US Coalition has dispatched around 150 trucks carrying military and logistics equipment and supplies to areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Eastern Syria from Northern Iraq. The SOHR underlined that the over 2,600 trucks carrying military equipment have been sent by the Syrian Army after Washington and the SDF declared end to the ISIL terrorist group in Eastern Euphrates. The local sources in Deir Ezzur province reported that a large number of residents of al-Moizlieh and al-Azabeh in Northeastern Deir Ezzur closed the roads and protested against the SDF and the US. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported that the civilians called on the Kurdish militia commanders to hand over the areas under their control to the indigenous population before protests spiral out of control. The residents of Deir Ezzur also took to the streets for protest after the US Army troops attacked the town of al-Kasar in al-Basirehh region in Eastern Deir Ezzur, abducting four members of a family and transferring them to an unknown place. In a relevant development in late August, the Kurdish-majority SDF continued to crack down on public dissent in Eastern Syria as hundreds of the US military trucks carrying military equipment had arrived in Hasaka province to back up the SDF. Local sources in Eastern Deir Ezzur reported that tens of residents of the towns of al-Azabeh and Moizlieh staged protest rallies against the SDF, and called for their exit from al-Jazeereh region. The Kurdish militia dispersed the crowd by firing at them. The protesters shouted against SDF’s corruption, plundering oil and public assets as well as closing al-Salehieh crossing which is linked to the areas under the Syrian Army’s control. Meantime, al-Watan newspaper reported that a new military convoy comprising over 200 trucks carrying US weapons as well as military and logistic equipment arrived in Ra’as al-Ain region in Northwestern Hasaka near the border with Turkey through Simalka passage between Iraq and Syria. Hasaka and Deir Ezzur provinces have been the scenes of large-scale protests over recent years concurrent with intensified tensions in SDF-controlled areas.
