On December 28, the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered a high number (over 20) of airstrikes in the Idlib-Aleppo countryside, according to pro-militant sources.
Reports say that Zarba, aristrikes targeted areas along the Aleppo-Idlib road and near the villages of Tal Alloush, Sallom and Qabtan Al-Jabal.
There is no confirmed information about casualties among members of militant groups or civilians.
If airstrikes by Russian warplanes are confirmed, it will mean that reports about the Russian-Turkish agreement on a nationwide ceasefire in Syria are a bit premature.
Maybe they were only targetting internationally recognised terrorist groups. The ceasefire excludes them.
Al Nusra does not agree with any ceasefire. The agreement must be meant for areas that will abide with terms of reconciliation. The tide has turned, and many Jihadist see this as a good option. Many in E Aleppo laid down their arms. This is a good strategy.
