Russian combat planes in Syria have destroyed over 650 targets of various terrorist groups in Syria during this past week, according to the report by the Defense Ministry of Russia, published in the official media outlet of the Defense Ministry Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star). The targets were destroyed during more that 360 sorties that took place over the period.
Russia’s Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu also reminded on October 27 that Russian Navy fleet based in the eastern Mediterranean Sea is providing active support to the Syrian Arab Army.
The Russian sappers have demined nearly 1000 objects in Deir ez-Zor, Russian Centre for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Syrian Arab Republic reported on October 26.
“In the past 24 hours, 33 hectares of the territory of the city and its suburbs, six kilometers of roads, and 35 buildings were demined, 963 explosives were discovered and destroyed,” the statement said.
A total of 741 hectares of territory, 183 kilometers of roads, and about 1,500 buildings, including schools, power plants and a hospital, have been inspected. Since the start of the Russian demining operation in Deir ez-Zor, 37,517 explosive items have been found and destroyed.
The Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria continues working with the local authorities to help the refugees return to their homes, TASS reported.
“In the past 24 hours, 293 people have returned to their homes. 220 people returned to their homes in Aleppo, 52 in Rif Dimashq and 21 in Homs province,” the center stated.

Solomon, you are playing with words. If SDF and Daesh are on the same side (and only appear to oppose each other) then THERE IS NO ADVANCE! There is only scaling down of the deception. This also means that SAA is the ONLY side making any advance! The only advance the US supported side is making is the advancing of the plan for the Kurds to dominate the currently Daesh occupied areas. As SAA/Russia/Hezbollah etc. are diminishing Daesh held areas the Grand Plan is crumbling, slowly but surely. So, to put it plainly, if we colour the map with Daesh and SDF held areas in the same colour, we will see that THEY have steadily been losing and only pro-Government forces have been advancing.

ιn modern battlefields first comes the airforce with presicion strikes ,then with strikes at secondary targets, then comes the artillery and finally the troops exploit the situation created.
Whoa. That’s like 100 strikes a day. If they keep that up there won’t be a single hospital, school, day care center, Mosque, grocery store or laundromat left for rebels to go to. Whatever you may think about Russia Carpet Bombing Villages to pieces, it is effective.
Dude, that plane in the pic carries 4 bombs and has empty hard points. That is not NOT carpet bombing. For that you need a lot more aircraft and full load outs.
Barba you are forgetting that internal bay of SU 25 carries 4 bombs. So that’s 8 per plane even if only 2 bombs on each wing. Probably flying in Pairs for Safety..
It looks like that this is not enough to finish with terrorists. If it is possible to double or triple this number that would be better.
