The Russian Navy’s battlegroup, led by Admiral Kuznetsov heavy aicraft-carrying missile cruiser and Pyotr Velikiy nuclear-powered battlecruiser, reportedly reached the Syrian waters on November 9.
According to local sources, 5 fighter jets from the Admiral Kuznetsov deck have been already spotted over the Syrian province of Latakia.
According to previous reports, the Russian naval task force is going to deliver military strikes and conduct flights from this area in coming days. Experts believe that terrorist groups, operating in the area of Aleppo city, are the most expected targets of these actions.
