Russia's Chief Of General Staff: If INF Treaty Is Canceled, Responsive Measures Will Target States Hosting US Missiles

CC0 / National Nuclear Security Administration / Nevada Site Office /

On December 4th, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that Russia has 60 days to start ‘complying’ to the INF, otherwise the US will finalize its withdrawal.

According to Pompeo, Russia has developed “multiple battalions of the SSC-8 missiles,” in a move that allegedly falls outside of the Cold War-era arms agreement.

“Its range makes it a direct menace to Europe,” he said after a summit with NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels.

Pompeo said that the US would not produce, deploy or test any such systems during the 60-day period.

“During these 60 days we will still not test or produce or deploy any systems, and we’ll see what happens during this 60-day period. We’ve talked to the Russians a great deal. We’re hopeful they’ll change course, but there’s been no indication to date that they have any intention of doing so.”

NATO expressed its support to the US demands in own statement. The statement reiterated that the US and other allied states have continuously raised their concerns and warned Russia to comply to the INF.

“Allies have concluded that Russia has developed and fielded a missile system, the 9M729, which violates the INF Treaty and poses significant risks to Euro-Atlantic security. We strongly support the finding of the United States that Russia is in material breach of its obligations under the INF Treaty,” the statement read.

The statement also absolves the US from any possible doubt that it may have also breached the INF, despite Russia repeatedly accusing it of doing so.

“The United States has remained in full compliance with its obligations under the INF Treaty since it entered into force. Allies have emphasized that the situation whereby the United States and other parties fully abide by the Treaty and Russia does not, is not sustainable.”

NATO also claimed that it’s firmly committed to the preservation of effective international arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation. The US and NATO “put the ball in Russia’s court” by calling on it to fully and verifiably comply to the INF in order to preserve it.

US President Donald Trump officially announced US plans to withdraw from the INF treaty on October 20th, saying that the US is at a disadvantage because of it.

“We’ll have to develop those weapons,” Trump said. “We’re going to terminate the agreement and we’re going to pull out.”

Russia rejected the US-NATO accusations that it is violating the INF treaty as well as the US ultimatum.

“Russia is following the provisions of the treaty and the American side knows this well,” Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed.

Chief of the Russian General Staff Gen. Valery Gerasimov said that if the INF Treaty is cancelled, then Russian responsive measures will target the states that accommodate US intermediate-range and short-range missiles.

“As military professionals, you should understand that not US territory, but the countries that accommodate US systems of intermediate-range and short-range missiles will become the targets of Russian responsive measures”, Gen. Gerasimov told foreign military attaches.

“One of the main destructive factors deteriorating the international situation is the activities of the United States aimed at retaining the predominant role of the US in the world and excluding other countries from competition.”

President Vladimir Putin said that Russia was against the destruction of the INF treaty, but would respond accordingly if this happens. He added that the US made the decision to leave the treaty long before the public announcement and used alleged violations by Russia as a pretext to do it.

“This means that the decision has long been made, but it has been made sneakily. They thought we wouldn’t notice this, but this is already in the Pentagon’s budget — the creation of these missiles. But only after it they announced publicly that they were leaving. As the next step, they started to think whom they could shuffle blame onto. Well, to say ‘Russia is to blame’ is the easiest and the most habitual thing for an ordinary Western person. This is not true, we are against the destruction of the treaty, but if it happens, we will react accordingly”, Putin said.

“Now, our American partners apparently believe that the situation has changed so much that the United States should also have such weapons. What’s our answer? It’s simple: we will develop them, too.”

The collapse of the INF treaty means that in case of a large open regional war, the entire region will suffer a devastating blow from the use of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles. Furthermore, many small European nations will be fully eliminated as a result of the conflict. According to some experts, this is the very scenario promoted by the Washington establsihment and its proxies within leadership of eastern European states.

The collapse of the INF treaty means that in case of a large open regional war, the entire region will suffer a devastating blow from the use of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles.

That’s the whole point, the real question is, why are the European citizenry (not the leaders, we know they’re owned and controlled by the same folks who own and control American politicians including President Trump) so complicit and acquiescent in this utter stupidity that will surely lead to another large scale conflict yet-again on European soil?

so

Not this.time. If Russia is attacked by anyone then there will be collateral damage. Oceans will not save us here in the USA. I’m sure that Russia can create serious bloodshed anywhere it wants. In minutes.

alejoeisabel

The United States solution to man-made global warming is to end humanity. The cockroaches and rats will do a better job than financial capitalism ever did.

Tommy Jensen

“solution to man-made global warming”???

The problem with liberals is that their identity is linked to a poster campaign, and to challenge one of their fake campaigns is to challenge not only their identity but also their hot air jobs in NGO´s and organisations managed by liberals.

Therefore you cannot get a decent discussion out of anything with liberals. They live, breath and earn on do-gooder illusions.

Sorry alejoeisabel, but the “fossil” oil didnt dry out in year 2000, the Russians found out in 1996 that the planet produce unlimited oil/gas. God´s creation is only dangerous inside a liberals head. Even tens of thousands of scientists in USA have now declared no-proof of “dangerous CO2 emissions”, after the clima hoax funding dried and dry out.

Sinbad2

You can argue that CO2 emissions are not responsible for climate change, but you cannot argue that climate change does not exist. Whatever the cause, climate change will cause most of Americas arable land to turn into desert, and a lot of Russia’s frozen north to turn into arable land. The Egyptian empire rose and fell because of climate change, and most of Europe rose on the back of climate change.

America is cactus, there is no cure for America, you can’t fix this with guns.

Jens Holm

Seemes like the global warming already has hit You. Some might recommend a hat or like Elton John – new hair.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EtCrHBq7Ds&list=PLA910D381CD5AF74E&index=12

Sinbad2

Actually it is the only cure, but America doesn’t believe in global warming America believes that the richer you are, the smarter you are.

Promitheas Apollonious

this jerking off of the west, it will not end well for humanity.

so

If only they spent more time jerking off. Then the rest of us could spend less time jerking off and start making the world a better place for ALL.

You can call me Al

Wooooo, hold on their cowboy; it is natural to jerk off, when making the World a better place for all, also good for your hair and Kleenex shares.

Redadmiral

In a better world men and women will not be so tense. A more relaxed life style without the threat of war, terror attacks and homicidal maniacs murdering people will facilitate people designed for love rather than war.

Promitheas Apollonious

we can not make the world a better place, no matter how much we try. The reason is simple. We are the minority and the jerk offs are the majority in all known history, in all civilizations where the money is the leading force.

But we can try and make it better where we are located among same minded people.

Tony B.

You just made my argument for concentrating on the destruction of the Rothschild cabal instead of all the stupid infighting between Rothschild owned nations.

Sinbad2

If you read Marx you would realize that the destruction of the Rothschild cabal is inevitable, it’s part of the cycle of capitalism. Son of Rothschild will rise from the ashes to replace Rothschild that went to the guillotine and the whole thing starts all over again.

Tony B.

Who do you suppose financed the likes of Marx? No “ism” gets beyond coffee house talk UNLESS ITS FINANCED. Who has stolen all the world’s wealth? Marx didn’t make it but Rothschild did. Wake the hell up.

Sinbad2

BS that’s just more American conspiracy theory. Americans are like primitives, everything including fire has an elaborate conspiracy theory behind it. Marx was an economist who analysed the capitalist financial system. He was hated by the banks and died in relative poverty.

occupybacon

In a better world I would spend more time jerking off, not less.

You can call me Al

The US are like little kids that throw their dummies down, when they cannot get their way.

I am sick to death of them.

Redadmiral

Agree Al, but unfortunately, they will be the death of us.

You can call me Al

Did you guys miss it – “Pompeo said that the US would not produce, deploy or test any such systems during the 60-day period”…….. we have a safe Christmas then and then they can unveil what they have been hiding.

Snowglobe

Yes, by the end of 60 days they should have all their ducks in a row and we will all know what is going on.

Concrete Mike

Deploy or test.

This means they have missile designs, that usa possesses those missile.

Am I seing this right? So USA did violate inf treaty.

You cant design and build a missile in 45 days can you?

Engineers dont work fast…you dont want them to work fast…thats how mistakes, design flaws happen. Thats how a 2 week project turns into a 6 weeks ordeal.

Benoit Balderacchi

No it almost mean they let a last luck to Russia to give the details they want and ask since two years to prove the new ground-ground russian missile cannot bring nuclear warhead in the forbidden range.

And almost because germans are not happy: during euro-missile crisis this kind of missile was done to repulse a ground invasion and blow up in east or west Germany for Russian and French, and in east Germany or Poland for US. But after Berlin wall fall, if this kind of missile be used, it will be for nuke Poland, Romania, Ukrain or belarus.

It’s true that it seem to be able to do it at first view. I look on the video of this new 9M729 stuff that you can find on youtube and compared it with the old Hades french nuclear cavalry and russian previous stuff: dimensions of the object are very similar.

Americans militaries become angry when they see the stuff being deployed in Kaliningrad, before they just ask russian for details about it abilities.

As USA already have this kind of missile in the past, they know how to make it so engineering work should be fast.

Sinbad2

The INF treaty only covers land based missiles, both sides have ship based missiles that would breach the treaty if used ashore. For the US, this started when Russia fired Kalibr missiles from the Caspian sea into Syria. It really freaked the Americans out, they have virtually abandoned the 5th fleet HQ in Bahrain. The US needs large ships to fire missiles, but Russia has fitted Kalibr’s to small vessels that can operate in rivers. Russia hasn’t broken the treaty, but has a workaround, the US is not capable of matching Russia, so is going back to what it does best, massive numbers of simple weapons.

BUT, the US simply cannot afford to build enough missiles and nuclear warheads to be a real threat to Russia in the short term, and in the long term the US is cactus fuctus.

Tommy Jensen

If only Putin had stayed out of the Syria plan, we would not have been standing on the edge of WWIII today. But Putin couldnt withstand the temptation to demonstrate his kalibr sh.t to show his wannabe equal partner bs.

Sinbad2

The US was trying to shut Russia and Iran out of gas sales to Europe and replace them with American(Qatari) gas. The US took over Ukraine, and stopped South Stream. So Russia stopped the American pipeline through Syria. That’s why Russia doesn’t care if the US annexes Eastern Syria, as long as Russia holds the Syrian coast, the US cannot build its pipeline.

All wars are about money.

Tommy Jensen

They are mesmo. A bit sad they are not able to agree a business deal all together, but have to waste $5 trillion down the gutter to end up like today. As Putin says, West will end up eating poison for this.

Sinbad2

The US invaded Afghanistan because the Taliban were demanding excessive fees to allow the TAPI pipeline to pass through Afghanistan. Here we are 17 years and billions of dollars later, and the US still doesn’t have its pipeline.

For America it’s about narcissism, for Russia it’s about money.

beypuutyina

poor syrians

You can call me Al

In my view yep – just as the Pesky Russkies said.

Anastasis

On 20 October 2018, the United States declared its intention to withdraw from the treaty. It was also reported that the United States’ need to counter a Chinese arms build up in the Pacific was another reason for their move to withdraw, because China is not a signatory to the treaty. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-nuclear-china/trumps-missile-treaty-pull out-could-escalate-tension-with-china- A politico article noted the different responses US officials gave to this issue: “either find ways to bring China into the treaty or develop new American weapons to counter it” or “negotiating a new treaty with that country.» The Chinese Foreign Ministry said a unilateral U.S. withdrawal would have a negative impact and urged the United States to “think thrice before acting,

Concrete Mike

I said something similar last night.

Any new inf treaty must include all nations that have this technology.

USA UK Russia China Israel Iran North Korea…anyone that has such technology.

This treaty at the time was to protect europe, times have changed. Lets update this and include all that needs to be included.

Sinbad2

Sadly you will not get a new treaty until the USA has been nuked out of existence. The US plans to do a national Jonestown.

Tudor Miron

American establishment (country level) still hope they can repeat what happened during WWI/II (which was actually one war conducted in two stages) – they get rich while others suffer. Their problem is that while it was technically possible in first half of 20th century it is not the case anymore. Withdrawing from INF is their step into that direction – thinking that they can waist Europeans and avoid retaliation themselves. Most interesting thing is that this move may lead to unexpected and unpleasant (for US country level elites) consequences.

occupybacon

They are trembling already.

Redadmiral

But trying to fight a thermo-nuclear war turns the planet into a cinder. While Yanki elites might get a generation or two in their Nuke proof bunker towns their demise will be guaranteed.

so

They’ll go insane after a couple of years.

Kire Stojanovski

This world gone wild! I didn’t think I would say this, but it seems like even Russia started lying. According to this article on Southfront, if it’s true (either Russia or Southfront is lying): https://southfront.org/new-russias-iskander-inf-is-almost-dead/ than Russia really has those missiles, and the USA and NATO accusations are true. So why are they denying it in that case? Wouldn’t it be smarter instead of that to condition the USA to dismantle the Aegis Ashore systems in Romania and Poland, which are also installed in violation of the INF Treaty, in return for destroying the missiles which are violating the Treaty as well. This must be the way to act, it is the only way to preserve the world, by mutually accepting the blame and reversing the things done wrong in the past. With the both sides lying and denying any violation of the treaty the end of this world will come very soon!

Tony B.

Which side would you trust to actually do what they promise?

Kire Stojanovski

There is no need of trust: destroy 1/2 of the missiles, then one of the bases, then 3/4 of the missiles, then the second of the bases, and in the end destroy all of the missiles. Job done. There is no need of trust, just an agreement.

Tony B.

Dream on.

Benoit Balderacchi

Mitterrand used to say “pacifists are on westside but missile are on eastside” during the euro-missile crisis.

That is how i see the thing: US have broken the ABM treaty with it polish romanian shield in order to win a strategic advantage in nuclear power, but Russia don’t have technology to build this type of antimissile stuff (they still work on it, that what the next Sxxx system will do). So Russia have cried and screamed during a decade for making cancelled the us project (as they do for euro-missile and as they will do for this INF treaty now).

Poutin have several time threatened polish government their state will become a target after the building of the shield. Then Russia made a forbidden weapon in order to put his threats to execution !

9M729 missile can bring 200 kt nuclear head in the forbidden range and the stuff is already deployed in Kaliningrad according satellite pictures. From here Russia can hit Poland, Baltic states, Germany, Sweden and maybe more, central Europe, France… so shut up Russia !

America have absolutely no interest to stay in a treaty they are the last and only country to apply.

Tony B.

Bull shit.

Sinbad2

“Russia don’t have technology to build this type of antimissile” Are you joking? Russia has been capable of shooting down ICBM’s since at least 1995.

Because Russia can shoot down American ICBM’s, the American plan is to put thousands of old style missiles in Europe, hoping that they can swamp Russian defenses.

It’s the USA that is technologically retarded.

Andrei

Hi all from what I am seeing me is that USA are so scare that Russia or China will eventually become MORE powerful than USA that are willing to do anything in their POWER to stop that, unfortunately they will not be able to stop the course of history,. We have to admit that USA help to stop Hitler was very welcome but from what I am seeing is that USA is willing to start a war whit Russia or China to keep the all power for themselves, but they have to remember that if a war will start between this countries will be the last one for all humanity,.. So,…a message to all greedy rich people an to all idiots in government’s around the world which they are so Satanic so evil and they don’t think about the future of the world .. Stop playing with fire… because Russia or China or any Country which have Nuclear arsenal will use it to defend their country….You stupid ULTRA RICH PEOPLE…..GO Enjoy your lifestyle whit nice women and buy anything which you want but don’t try to start a war. Because is the last one

Tony B.

Wake up. U.S. government and military simply do what their owner, the Rothschild cabal in its City of London, order it to do. The U.S. “people” have no say in it one way or another.

Andrei

Mr Tony. We all have free choice even in the most Communist COUNTRIES people have a say… Peaceful dialogue or a more aggressive way”” WAR against your Government “”” Government’s will never WIN against People of the countries..They might believe that a government has power against a nation but all are wrong

Tony B.

Words, words, words. Come here and see just what you can do. You will find a tight police state in fact (but not in visible mention anywhere) which makes those of previous communist countries look like boy scouts. Voices are allowed as an escape value for emotions but acts are usually met by death, instantly or gradually engineered in prison. Media controls almost all allowed “facts’ which are usually lies. Each generation sees fewer people who realize what is going on or even have the ability to think. That’s what public schools are for.

Even Christianity has largely been turned into a talmudic ass kissing exercise. Drumpf (loud mouthed Trump) is owned by his son-in-law and the Rothschild cabal openly as they have been bailing out his father and himself for the best part of a century.

Sinbad2

The French can get to their feet and complain, and once upon a time, so did Americans.

Americans today pretend the US Government commits its crimes against the wishes of the people, but the American people keep on reelecting the same criminals over and over again.

Tony B.

There hasn’t been an honest election in the U.S. since before WW2. Probably not since the fed was created in 1912. The people do not elect these criminals, the Rothschild cabal, which owns all the major parties, appoints them and their wholly owned media makes up the numbers to match. Total theater. Even paper ballots are run through computers to make the manipulated numbers impossible to check. Your prejudice against Americans in general is nonsense. Most other western countries have the same problem. Take a real look at today’s Europe, for instance. Just how did France get to where it is? Did the regular French people vote to have their country ruined?

Sinbad2

“Your prejudice against Americans in general is nonsense. Most other western countries have the same problem.”

That is simply not true. Here in Australia all ballots are paper, all votes are counted by independent Government workers, whilst being scrutinized by representatives of the political parties. When the major parties go against the will of the people, the people start voting for other parties, and independent candidates. Political parties come and go in other countries, but in America the same 2 despotic regimes are the only ones Americans will vote for.

Americans treat their political parties like football teams, and even register as voters for one team or another. The idea that you are welded to either the Democrats or Republicans is not democracy, it’s stupidity. Many millions of innocent people from dozens of countries have died because Americans are too lazy to control their politicians, you stand around crying it’s not me, but then only reelect a President who starts a war. Then you have the audacity to force your corrupt system on to other countries.

I am disgusted by the total apathy and lust for blood of the American people.

PS Do you know who Henry Wallace was? I do and I’m not even an American. American corruption is as obvious as the nose on your face.

Tony B.

Come off it. You guys elect someone the cabal doesn’t like and the Queen of England has the person taken out of office. WORSE than the U.S. You are not writing to an ignoramus on America, its history and its people. The American people are no more lusting for blood than any other people anywhere in the world. Like everyone else, they just want to be left alone to live their lives You believe too much media bullshit. The great majority of Americans don’t have a clue as to the military and what it does around the world. Like everyone else, they basically care about what’s going on in their own lives. Except that Americans give money to disasters around the world faster than any other people in the world and more of it. And it comes from the little guy who hasn’t much to spare, not the greedy bastards in control of everything. The government is an Israel/Rothschild co-opted government, completely foreign to the normal American citizen, just like in your country. BTW, an Australian, just the other day, wrote that your paper ballots, just like ours, are then run through computers and manipulated by whomever has control. Don’t talk so superior – Australia does not have a lilly white history. Pretty grubby lately is the way it comes across in what little gets in the world media.

Sinbad2

“BTW, an Australian, just the other day, wrote that your paper ballots, just like ours, are then run through computers and manipulated by whomever has control.”

That is simply not true, ballots are counted at the polling station by electoral commission employees, with scrutineers from the parties watching their every move. I was a scrutineer, I was there.

As for the Australian Government being corrupted by foreign forces, that is true, but it’s the USA that does the controlling. It seems Britain gifted Australia to the USA at the end of WWII. But the people fight back on matters they understand. As an example the US has been trying to get Australia to abolish its universal healthcare system, so American insurance companies can move in. But the politicians know that the Australian people would vote them to political oblivion. Even the little guy who thought he was an American deputy backed down from abolishing Medicare. Australians voted to get out of Vietnam, and succeeded against the strong opposition from the USA. That same PM, Gough Whitlam, went to China before Nixon, the US blackened his name, and corrupted the one man who could remove an elected government from office, the Governor General. He spent the rest of his life in hiding, and Gough Whitlam became an icon, for an independent Australia.

Australia is not unique, it’s the subservience of the American people that is unique.

so

We’ll see when the Food stops,Oil stops and Transportation ends.Jobs end etc.

Dmitry Orlov How The Russians Survived The Collapse Of The Soviet Union. Google it Find it and read it.

Knowledge is power. The Russians know. Pity us idiots.

Vido Dasler

Russia should demand the US comply with the NPT and withdraw all nukes from Europe. Otherwise Russia should withdraw from NPT and start selling nukes . Two can play that game.

Sinbad2

A better idea, and one that Russia will probably carry out, is selling S500 systems to anyone that will buy them. That means that any nation can shoot down ICBM’s, it would rid the world of the American nuclear threat.

so

That’s a great idea!

Neo Onh

Russia should just state the obvious: ANY american (or NATO = american) missile fired at Russia will be met by a russian missile fired at USA. Because this is the plan of Washington – to fire on Russia from Europe and let Europe take the russian retaliation. Well, too bad, Russia will target the perpetrator = USA, not the place of missille origin. OR, even better, fire at both!

Sinbad2

You’re right, Russia should state that if the US breaks the INF treaty, Russia will double its number of ICBM’s.

russ

Russia should have three targets that receive 50% of their nukes, Tel Aviv, City of London and NYC.

Tommy Jensen

Bs. Russia will do the same as in Syria, bend over. Sending a letter to UN, asking to enter into a dialogue about all our personal problems.

Sinbad2

Yes I think Russia should put signs on their nukes, To New York, Dallas etc, from Russia with love.

Make a video and show all Americans that their Government plans to make Russia kill them all.

Andrei

I will personally fight against any country that star the big war

Sinbad2

How will you know which country started it? Who will you believe CNN, BBC, Tass?

Andrei

Honestly i don’t know but i hope that will never happen

Jens Holm

Understandable Russian reaction. The next president of USA can only be better then Trump.

Tommy Jensen

Trump is actually not so bad. At least he is 10 times better than the worst shethole of all times Obama. Few people are aware of all the sick policies Obama did during his time, they see only a nice man with a nice family.

Obama raised unemployment, created ISIS and paid their salaries, doubled US public debt, killed US middle class, less Americans without a house, involved in 7 wars he never finished, m.m.

Trump recently raised the emission level of coal 50%, thus saving more US coal industries from going bankrupt after Obama also killed the coal industry. Trump has saved a lot of jobs for Americans and made the world affairs closer to reality.

R Trojson

Obama is a war monger. He started the Syrian, Libyan, Ukrainian and Yemen wars. For Heavens sake Obama started and funded ISIS. He even tried to do Egypt what he did to Syria and Libya. Remember the Arab Spring? Obama wanted to set the whole Middle East on fire. Come to think of it he set a lot of it on fire.

R Trojson

Putin is scared and on defensive. He knows how this plays out. Just look at the numbers. We have a country with untold wealth by far the largest economy on the planet at $21 Trillion picking an arms race fight with a $1.7 Trillion economy relatively poor country. US is over 12x bigger than Russia and will easily out spend to win the arms race. We all know Russia will be bankrupted in the process, just like the USSR. Bankrupting Russia has always been the objective with this new arms race only one of many steps toward bankruptcy.

Sinbad2

America is collapsing and Putin is laughing. America is broke, America loses money every single year and just keeps borrowing more to cover the losses. How long before you have to sell your children? https://youtu.be/GDXYzUlv0S8

R Trojson

Remember the USSR? Russia is on the same dead end road. US owns the currency of this planet. When you own the planet’s currency you can never run out of money.

Sinbad2

Yes I do remember the USSR, and it’s the USA that is on the same path. The USA destroyed the Soviet Union, by tempting Russia into war in Afghanistan, whilst at the same time crashing the oil price. Because the Soviet Union was under American sanctions, they could not borrow any money, and the empire collapsed.

Today It’s the USA that can’t make any money, and pays more to get American oil out of the ground than the market price, whilst invading countries. The only difference is America can borrow money, at least for now, how long before the US reaches its credit limit?

R Trojson

“Yes I do remember the USSR and it’s Russia that is on the same path. The USA destroyed Russia by tempting Russia into war in Syria, whilst at the same time crashing the oil price. Because Russia was under American sanctions, they could not borrow any money, and the empire collapsed.

The USA is making more money now than at any time in history. The US collected more tax money this year than at any time in history. The USA is now an oil exporter for the first time in 80 years. The US economy is stronger and there are more people working and private sector jobs than at any time in history.

The USA will always be able to borrow dollars because it owns the dollar. The USA can create as many dollars as the government wants whenever it wants out of thin air. The US will never have a credit limit because the government always gives itself all the money it needs.

Sinbad2

I know this is off topic, but the INF will become irrelevant if the US collapses.

Trump tried to patch things up with the Saudis, the CIA released info blaming Prince Salman for the murder of Khashoggi.

Trump calls a truce with China, and the US via Canada arrests the daughter of the owner of Hauwei. Supposedly the woman who is CFO of Huawei has been arrested for breaking US sanctions against Iran. The US sanctions against Iran are in fact illegal. China will crush the Canadian economy for this illegal action. This is big, China has already started selling American stocks, and the US economy is tanking.

Obviously the division between Democrats Republicans and the deep state has reached a level where they are willing to harm the USA to make Trump look bad. It seems Israel(New York Times) is backing the arrest.

The US is on the verge of civil war, or a coup where the CIA rules the USA.

beypuutyina

From this answer is cear, that aso RUsia does not want anymore the INF treaty.

Sinbad2

I don’t think Russia cares, they hold the technological lead, and can pay for their weapons with cash. The US is getting dumber by the day, and has to borrow to build its weapons. Either way Russia will win, not only militarily, but also politically, the Europeans aren’t enthused about being Americas cannon fodder.

beypuutyina

russia although has good missiles, but in other spheres is weak. using military competition west overran the ussr. rassia has no chance to win such games. the nect problem is china. china i china, they never needed partners. strong china = another strong foreign army near russian borders. i know, the haters in this forum believe, that china and russia are allied, but they are not. they are competitor, only actualy is truce.

Sinbad2

While the USA exists China and Russia will be allies, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. After the US has been destroyed, things may change, but they are more civilized than America and realize that long term wealth is made via trade not war and pillaging.

beypuutyina

i remember, in first years of mao there was a big hug between ussr and china. but this was false hug. today they are semi-friends, but be sure, in short time will be china against russia.

Sinbad2

I remember when Saddam Hussein was Americas best friend and Donald Rumsfeld gave him poison gas.

I remember when Ronald Raygun paid the Taliban to kill Russian women and children.

beypuutyina

taliban never killed russian people.

so, you accept, that today be friend = tomorrow enemy :D

R Trojson

Just wait until Ukraine starts launching tactical nukes into Crimea.
