I’m sure there are indeed many more, but judging from the recent massive coup plot in Venezuela that was foiled with the help of Russian intelligence advisors, I think Russia is slowly winning the contest. When a society steeped in religion, morality and patriotism finds itself in conflict with a society where greed is the prime “value” and corruption is rampant, it’s not hard to predict the winner.
