The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), together with units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Rosgvardia, suppressed the activities of a terrorist cell from Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami in Kazan, the press service of the Center for Public Relations (DSP) of the FSB reported.

It is noted that during the special operation, five Islamists were detained, whose activities were aimed at creating a “world caliphate” and violent overthrow of the government.

“With the use of subversive measures during the meetings, they spread terrorist ideology among the residents of the Republic of Tatarstan, recruited Muslims into their ranks,” the FSB said.

During the searches, propaganda materials, telephones and electronic media were seized in the homes of the detainees. A criminal case was initiated.

It should be reminded that there are thousands of militants being deployed by Turkey to assist Azerbaijan in the war for Nagorno-Karabakh.

Russia admitted that it was concerned regarding their presence in South Caucasus, and this could, in fact, be the red line that’s being crossed that would warrant an intervention in the conflict by Moscow.

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) received accurate information from various sources that terrorist fighters, including those from the Middle East, primarily from Syria, are participating in the Karabakh conflict, the head of the SVR of Russia Sergei Naryshkin said.

Commenting on a video published by the Armenian side about a Syrian mercenary captured in Karabakh, Naryshkin noted that Russia receives information from a number of countries about the transfer of militants to the South Caucasus.

“We receive this data from a number of countries, from different sources and from our various partners, partner services in the Middle East and Middle East,” the head of the SVR explained.

Answering the question about SVR cooperation with the special services of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Naryshkin noted that there is a mechanism for interaction with them.

“There is a well-functioning mechanism of cooperation with the special services, with the intelligence services of all countries of the CIS space, including the Foreign Intelligence Service of Azerbaijan and the division of the National Security Service of Armenia, a division that is engaged in intelligence activities,” he said.

Kiselev also inquired about the cooperation of the British and Turkish special services on Karabakh and how they coordinate their actions.

“We feel the work of the Turkish intelligence service, we see certain elements of this work. As for British intelligence, I cannot say that about the British,” the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service replied.

Earlier it was reported that Turkey from the north of Syria transferred terrorist mercenaries to Azerbaijan with the aim of using them against Karabakh and Armenia.

This information was confirmed not only by the Armenian and Karabakh leadership, international media and foreign human rights organizations, but also by representatives of the authorities of Syria, France, Russia, the United States, etc. France and Russia expressed concern about the involvement of militants from Syria in the hostilities in the zone the Karabakh conflict.

According to official data, the servicemen of the Karabakh Defense Army captured two Syrian mercenaries who fought in Karabakh on the side of Azerbaijan. Both mercenaries have already been interrogated and arrested, and criminal cases have been initiated against them.

Some Russians are very happy that Americans leave Afghanistan, defeated. I wonder for how long until the Talibans will spread in Central Asia. It’s better to have an enemy at the table than under the table.

Lone Ranger

The taliban ruled Afghanistan between 1996-2001. There was no major threats and opium production was down. Than the U.S. invaded… Russia is neutral on the U.S. presence the only negative aspect is the increased opium production.

occupybacon

The opium is tradition in all central Asia and was tolerated in Soviet Union, in those republics.

Lone Ranger

That’s true. But it wasn’t boosted. Since the U.D. invaded opium production is up by 10 fold. Afghanistan is the biggest opium producer ever.

cechas vodobenikov

according to UN opium production has increased 2500% since US invasion

cechas vodobenikov

a tradition with the junkies in Kiev perhaps

occupybacon

No, opium cigars was in groceries, in communism and I think still is. But only in those 3 countries.

JIMI JAMES

No it was not (period) you p00fs of todays decayed society, you always lie cowards!

occupybacon

No, actually you could buy opium cigars in groceries, in Kirgislztan, Tadjikistan, Uzbekustan. They didn’t had fod but had opium cigars. Anyway any peasant know how to make it.

Davide Herzog

British manage it . As always in the history .

paolinks

For now, the only terrorists fucking with Russia have been the US supported ones.

Remember that the talibans are ( lately ) in good terms with Iran.

occupybacon

Iran dirrectly supported Mujahedeens against Soviet invasion, before USA officially steped in.

paolinks

Yes. Soviet invasion and Iran. Russia isn’t the USSR. But Iran is respected by talibans even today. This is why the talibans have been attacked, in recent years, by ISIS.

cechas vodobenikov

false–taleban sunni consider Shia to be heretics—they slautered many Hazarra shia in Afghanistan

paolinks

After the US war on Afghanistan, the talibans have become much more pragmatic. Even though they hate shia on paper, they are accepting help from Iran and Russia.

In theory they should hate the americans too, yet they made no problem to accept american weapons in the ’80s.

Don’t mix ideologies with realpolitik. Also, the fact that ISIS is attacking them, is a clear proof that ideology means nothing in that war theater.

JIMI JAMES

No soviet invasion, they were on a mission to counter lgbtq/cia (period) and for your information they accoimplished the mission by reinsbtating the legit leader too,as they walked out of afghanistan as victors, crushing the cia, sadly though the nazis finally found a way to screw over the cccp, congratufknations gorbachev, by the way soviets never invade unless they are provoked, wtf are you, sorosnazi:

JIMI JAMES

Usa deccoup, then cccp were invited by the legit communist leader, lieing stinkers:

occupybacon

Invited, noninvited, Iran backed the mujahedeens. Anyway when a government invites foreign army to fight own people, is treason.

cechas vodobenikov

already defeated –obese US soldiers hide in their bases

occupybacon

Then why Russia cry about NATO bases near its borders if US soldiers so fat and stoopid?

Lone Ranger

Good job Comrades ?

JIMI JAMES

In other words there is a covert background intelligence which counters the neo-phaedokweers trustees of soros, biden, brussels, nwo, lgbtq, incests, like I said there is no future in fascism, nor lgbtq, nor soros, eat sht:
