Russia’s Sukhoi Aircraft Company has a serial production of Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jets to the Russian Aerospace Forces, the office of Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov told the state-run news agency TASS on July 29.
“A state contract was signed at the Army 2019 international arms exhibition between the Defense Ministry of Russia and the Sukhoi Company for the delivery of a batch of Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jets. The Sukhoi has started to fulfil its contractual obligations,” TASS quoted the vice-premier.
In the framework of the contract, Sukhoi Aircrat Company is set to deliver 76 Su-57 fighter jets to the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The vice-premier’s office also confirmed that the first serial Su-57 will be delivered before the end of 2019.
“The first plane will be delivered to the customer before the end of 2019,” the statement says.
The Su-57 is a fifth-generation multirole fighter designed to destroy all types of air targets at long and short distances and hit enemy ground and naval targets, overcoming its air defense capabilities. The jet’s aerodynamic configuration ensure the low level of radar and infrared signature. The Su-57 armament will include, in particular, hypersonic missiles.
The Su-57 jet has been successfully tested in combat conditions in Syria.

They launched all the SA missiles they had, Those missiles use Infrared to see the heat from the plane engine. It was just poor luck. If that was based of technology instead of luck, there were other planes downed too, like F-16 and F-18 which are not stealth at all.

All stealth aircraft are visible to even very old radar systems when the bomb bay doors are open, and the F35 is easily targeted from the rear. Basically the F35 is a kamikaze plane, yes it might get in unseen, but it will never get away.
Russia has its own military doctrine – and designs and manufactures its own interceptors and fighter bombers that are clearly the definitive peer level competition to US designs – name another state that does this, or is even capable? Any other state.

Lets be real here. Russia is running behind China. Every time China makes a real statement about their j-20, Russian officials make another statement trying to not look bad with their Su-57. The J-20 has engines covered, Sukhoi rushed to cover their engines. China started to test fly serial j-20 plane, Russia rushed to test it in Syria. China started to produce serial J-20, Russia placed a contrat for 76 Su-57. Now J-20 is operational in the first air-brigade and Russia answered saying the first serial Su-57 will be delivered in 2019.
China’s jet engines are nowhere near the quality of US or Russian engines. They are still decades behind in that department…
Don’t worry, he doesn’t realize the SU-57 has a RCS of only 0.1 m^2 while the F-22 has a RCS of 0.0001 m^2. He doesn’t realize how the F-22 can spot the SU-57 from 100km away, while the SU-57 can only spot it 30km away. F-22 and F-35 would clearly detect the SU-57 first and blow it out of the sky with its AIM-120C. The F-22 has a 70km starting advantage, and the F-35s radar detection range against a SU-57 is even greater since it uses the APG-81 radar, more powerful than the APG-77

That means if an F-22 can detect 1m^2 targets at up to 250km, it can detect the SU-57 at 60-100km, while the SU-57 can detect the F-22 at only 30-45km away. Meaning the F-22 will spot the SU-57 first
If and it is a very BIG IF all you claim was true the Yanki mic would not have cut the Raptor’s production run at 36% of requirements. Even if it wasn’t the Russian newly upgraded version of the old soviet woodpecker radar system no longer tracks the aircraft but the ions that an object displaces as it moves.

Frankly the Russians are better off just modernizing existing fighters as a stop gap measure until their own stealth drones are ready for prime time. Throwing a bunch of money at a 5th-gen manned fighter plane is short-sighted because the next big thing in aviation is drones.
SU57 has potential to be upgraded to optionaly manned plane.
Its a big ticket military program and there is much political capital and great deal of engineering knowledge to be gained from the project – particularly in new engine development and packaging that can be used in various formats, including drones, in future. Have to bear in mind NATO is hyper aggressive and expansionist at this point in time – so such an advanced program communicates range of messages on domestic and international level.
NO For drones to function you need radio communication, most US drones are piloted from Las Vegas. So what happens if the enemy takes out your satellite? The Americans and French have already complained about hostile Russian mini satellites that have parked right next to their satellites and then moved away. Meanwhile China has been practicing shooting them down.

F35 is a 3rd generation aircraft equiped with Facebook technology. Its speed, agility, weapons load and range is no better than that of a MIG21, but it can connect to stuff (sort of).
