Heavy artillery fire continued in the Syrian Greater Idlib region between the Syrian Arab army (SAA) and local militants.
The SAA renewed its bombardment of the militants’ positions in the Sahl Al-Ghab plain area in the north-western countryside of Hama, as well as in the Jabal Al-Zawiyah mountain area in south-western Idlib countryside.

On December 13, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Maarzaf village. An adjustable Krasnopol projectile was reportedly used to hit a field control point of Uzbek militants located in the Idlib settlement of Mantaf.

Over the last 24 hours, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Ankawi, Atarib, and Safuhin villages.
The Russian Aerospace Forces provided an air support to the SAA. Russian warplanes hit positions of Turkish-backed forces in the Kafr Taal area on December 12.
In their turn, Idlib militants fired rockets at the SAA positions in the villages of Kafr Batikh in the south of Idlib province.
Earlier, strikes were reported in Harsh Khan Al-Subul and areas near Damascus-Aleppo international highway in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported so far.
In Greater Idlib, while Ankara’s troops are keeping it low, the so-called moderate opposition, led by the al-Qaeda affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) continue to commit numerous daily ceasefire violations targeting the SAA, as well as civilian settlements.
Syria and Russia warned on several occasions in the last few years that HTS is trying to establish a breakaway state in Greater Idlib. This forces the SAA and its allies to take military action against the terrorist groups.
It needs a full scale offensive all along the front to liberate Idlib,its that simple,otherwise this nonsense will continue,i think early Christmas day would be a good time.
